It is better than the alternatives, but rooms are musty and dark. Everything is dirty. The breakfast is a nightmare. The garden inthe hotel is pleasant. Prices are, like everywhere in Wamena, too high for what you get.

you want to go to one of the remotest places on earth and see amazing tribes this is the way to do it. Originally designed as a luxury boutique resort there is still some of that original charm, but it's now all but abandoned, and run by locals with limited English. Expect brown water, and broken fittings. But other than...

The Hotel is very cozy with a nice and friendly staff. Rooms are convinient and there is a hot water, what is very important in Indonesia. Breakfast is very tasty and included into the price. But the only minus- is wi-fi! you should buy it and it is not cheap. But connection is very bad and you cannot use it...

Staff - one woman on reception had very good English and answered lots of questions for us as well as receiving our complaints and offering us a discount. However the staff weren't always honest saying our hot water would be fixed when it wasn't. We also heard them lie about availability to one person then change their story for the...

it is recommended to book at new wings, comfortable bed and hot water. the best hotel in Wamena regency so far I knew. Ask receptionist when you need extra brush teeth, extra towel and some time need to spray the room for mosquito's at night.

Hotel Baliem Pilamo is located in the middle of town. You can find a big variety of rooms in prices according to the quality of them. Quite comfortable for such a place like Wamena but do not be surprised if you find a cockroach in the cheaper room. The nice garden and restaurant. Breakfast OK. The staff tried to be...

I would highly recommend the new wing. There was a smell in the bathroom and I think it's the sewerage. There is no a.c. but had hot shower. Watch out for the power cuts while in the shower as the water supply gets cut off. Other than these issues it was a comfy stay considering we are in a remote...

This place is a comfortable bed while travelling in a very remote place. It's certainly not luxurious, but please remember where you are. The rooms are clean & tidy. The power goes off regularly (no running water). It's an art to score a hot shower - first in, first served, but you have to wait till the water has had...

The best there is, but not good enough. They should send their staff to see and learn from another hotel. Floor show for breakfast is not my cup of tea What about some service??? No fan or airconditioning even in Grand deluxe room. Next to the runway, a lot of noise
