It is really unique and fantastic experience ti stay a night in this hotel, we went there in april and the weather was very nice, but it changed compeletly at night and it snowed so it made very very beautifull night view in the middle of rocky mountains! The room was very cosy and beautiful and the best part was...

This hotel is one of the most unique and exotic hotels in Iran, carving the rooms inside the troglodyte as a luxury spacious room and facing the snow capped mountain range. The hotel is right in front of the kandovan village, dubbed Iran's Cappadocia. This hotel is probably the best among all hotels in this Laleh chain. Decoration is superb...

Traveled with wife and 2 young kids (3 & 2 years old). We lodged there for 3 nights and made day trips to Tabriz. In hindsight, it would have been more sensible to make Tabriz our base and stay over one night at the hotel as the village itself can be explored in a couple of hours. We were in...

It's a great way for being in silent and wonderful place, specially in nights!!this hotel and it's view from all rooms,a river across the village,a forest opposite the hotel,a mountain all around the hotel and village, and sound of river in nights!!! And the Hotel !!just come to see how human can shape the rock with no technology in 700 years ago!!

Kandovan itself is a charm and a very impressive setting. Some will say half a day suffices but we actually enjoyed our visit sleeping there for 1 night. Laleh hotel was almost empty because of the winter time but the room was amazing, very warm (specially nice when outside it was - 14 C). The restaurant had a good meal...

Fabulous cave suite, with great interior design. Maybe not the the claustrophobic, but I enjoyed the novelty of having my own cave facilities. The walk up to the rooms and restaurant requires a good level of fitness. As others have said, the restaurant is probably the weak aspect of this hotel. Uninspiring food and service.

If one is tall, it could be painful if one forgets to duck but it certainly is a rare treat. Cave hotels are rare, Cappadocia comes to mind and there are a few others. The rooms were well appointed and nobody can deny that these were authentic caves. If I had a complaint it was that it took a long...
