In 3 weeks on Sulawesi this was my worst accommodation. A driver from Tomohon (tarsier homestay) suggested this resort. I wish I didn't listen to him. It looks like the 'resort' is abondoned and that a family next door are still accepting guests. The bungalow was in a real poor condition. Broken windows , cracks in the walls and I...

I am sure this place had a better time in the past. Unfortunately, the new owners have done literally nothing to maintain the place, and the cottages are in such a terrible state that some are not for rent anymore (which could be the case for all of them!). We decided to stay because it was cheap and well located,...

Garden was beautiful but the bungalows in quite bad shape, old, moist, like there had been no maintenance at all, bed linen moldy, bathroom seemed dirty, bathtub had a large crack. In the end we decided to move to another hostel. For the price (200t rp) not worth it.

Location would be ok. It is a five to ten minutes walk away from the mainroad where you can find shops, restaurants, churches and transport. The problem is the close-by karaoke place which plays music from very early (before 7 AM) till 10 PM. Old bungalows, poorly maintained. Bed not comfortable, old blankets, doors that can not be closed. Dirty...

It's one of those places which someone made with a lot of love and then forgot about it. There is a beautiful pond in the centre of the guesthouse, lots of birds collect there and it makes for a great place to sit and read. But the rooms look like a storm came and went. Overall an okay place to...

Tomohon is comfortably cool in comparison to nearby Manado and I found Volcano Resort to be wonderful place to relax. I spent four days and loved the rustic two room cottage I had. Flush toilet, cold shower but the bathroom is nice enough (clean, big mirror). It's nothing fancy but for 200k/night it is good value (despite one confused reviewer...

I had a rustic wooden bungalow with lovely sitting room with large windows overlooking a tranquil garden. Great value for money included all day coffee/tea and breakfast. Meals were provided upon request and very cheap. The owners here are extremely friendly and this was an amazingly tranquil place to unwind and cool off a bit since the elevation offers relief...

We spent five nights at the Volcano Resort, which consists of a few cottages set in a lovely garden. The cottages are basic with cold water showers, but the setting is so nice we didn't really spend much time indoors. Breakfast, as well as tea and coffee is included and served in a gazebo on a small pond, which is...

Very nice cottages situated in the middle of a spacious garden right under Gunung Lokon. Plus, affordable. The only reason the resort didn't receive 5 stars in this review is the fact that the owner/receptionist was never around and nowhere to be found. You just have to linger around long enough for someone to notice you.

We stayed for three nights at the volcano resort. When we arrived we were told that the room is 100 ruhpia (I asked him 3 times). For that price bungalow would be ok. It is quite run down (muld on the celling, chairs are falling apart etc..) and there is only cold water in the shower. The matraze was ok...
