I'm sitting here at the pool in the morning and can see the ocean a block away. We just finished an excellent breakfast with amazing coffee. I think we'll head back to the beach for the day. The only points of improvement to note might be the comfort of the bed and a warmer hot tub. What a relaxing stay... More

I visited this hotel with my mom and nephew recently and we had a pleasant stay. The best feature of Hotel Playa Bejuco is its location, secluded at the end of a gravel road, just 25 meters from the beachfront. Playa Bejuco is a beautiful beach, with almost no people, very relaxed, good for long walks and surf, ideal if... More

Stayed at this fantastic small hotel for two weeks with my son. The staff, especially Mildred, Carlos, Christian and Sandra could not do enough for us! We speak no Spanish so they organised trips for us and helped us navigate our way around via the Punterenas bus! Our room was perfect and the en suite and air con most welcome.... More

Schedule change caused last minute check for a room--lots this time of year, but Playa Bejuco offered good facilities off the highway and just a block from the beach if that appeals. Small 'green' season discount that really could have been more given a nearly empty hotel and local client, but reasonable for beach hotel. Restaurant did offer a bit... More

We had a Fabulous Lunch here w/fresh seafood. Portions were very filling and very reasonably priced. No tip was included in the bill, which the restaurants usually include. Ck your bill & make sure it is correct. Our bill was in dollars instead of colones & prices were higher on our bill than the menu. We brought it to the... More

The hotel was small and comfortable and the food exceeded my expectations. We loved that it was walking distance from the beach. The rooms were adequate and comfy. It is near other beaches we could visit (Dominical, Bahia Ballena, etc). It was perfect for the peaceful weekend we had planned. I would recommend they add more safe conditions around the... More

This is a nice hotel: good, large rooms with all amenities, nice pools, an excellent restaurant (Sunsets - the last "s" is a mystery because we saw only one sunset) and efficient staff. The meals at the restaurant were well prepared and large portions. The rooms are spacious. We didn't like the japanese style bed bases which are easily hit... More

We stayed at this hotel in May 2015, and found it by accident. It is 1000' from the Black Sand beach. It has a nice pool, friendly staff, reasonably priced, and a very nice restaurant. The food and drinks are excellent. The rooms are some of the best we have stayed in Costa Rica. It offers a safe environment to... More

I stayed with a group and this resort did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is a two minute walk away. The pool is well maintained. The food and drinks were very good. I would stay again.
