The dining room staff were very friendly. I saw little cockroaches running around the room. I phoned the front desk clerk for insecticide spray, after about fifteen minutes of waiting I walked to the receptionist. Only when I sat down and said I was going to wait, was I given the insecticide. The cell phone signal is poor to nothing,...

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and could quite easily have extended this if time had allowed. Our room was first class looking onto the extremely picturesque and testing golf course. However, the stars of the show were the staff members that we came into contact with who were nothing short of exceptional in the way they cared...

We went there for a week attending a conference. Extremely beautiful location, very close to one of the entrance of the Kruger National Park. Rooms are large and well furnished: the most impressive fact is that almost every room is very close to the golf court, where animals are left free, so you can follow their habits and lifes while...

The entrance is earth road, quite dusty, and the room was quite old, the shower area was too slippery, my son fell once. I think they must put some mat there for the safety of guests. Everything in the room was like more than 20 years, and even the toilet paper was of bad quality. The gold course itself is...

We stayed at Hans Merensky's for 3½ days from 7. to 11. March in roms 238 and 240 (later 243). I split my review into 3; Hotel incl. surroundings, staff's service skills and golf course. Hotel: We arrived Monday afternoon to stained towels, seamingly after chlorine has been tried to bleach bloodstains. Tuesday gave us no new towels, because we...

This place is in a shocking state, the golf course look just terrible the hotel is out dated, over priced and use to be a stunning place. Half built projects around the estate. The golf course are expensive and in the worst condition I have ever seen. Such a pity have great potential.

We had two rooms. Both smelled of a spray used for some type of environmental control. I could hardly breathe. The place is huge (think Las Vegas) and was empty. There are lovely hotels in the town nearby. Please stay in one of those.

Great size room, clean comfortable and huge bathroom with bath and powerful shower. Very accommodating group of management and staff who are reinvigorating it back to where it belongs. A comfortable hotel with good facilities and a golf course that has a myriad of wildlife to spice up your game

I am very disappointed in this "establishment" after seeing their website and comparing the experience I had there. The air conditioner did not work in the room and the temperature was 42 degrees. I wanted to go and swim in the pool and the water was green. I walked to the spa and the pool there was empty. I decided...

Impressive structure even a little over the top! High ceilings and structures are great but you do still have to clean them.... Found the place to be very friendly and breakfast was fine. Rooms were good although a little dated. But high thatch ceilings need cleaning. Don't like bat poop and cockroaches in my room! Wifi was non existent and...
