We stayed one night at La Rongere. Our host Olivia was very welcoming and attentive. The propoperty is very charming and idyllic with a fantastic view to the countryside. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We could use the swimming pool and the sauna at anytime we wanted. As there are only four rooms, the atmosphere was personal...

We had a great stay at La Rongere. My family had two rooms- a double and a triple (Rooms 3 and 2, respectively). Both rooms were comfortable. Room 2 had a small sitting area, while room 3 was just bed and chairs. The real highlight though was the Bed and Breakfast itself and the hostess, Olivia. La Rongere has wonderful...

La Rongere is a find. Go, book a room, stay and you'll never want to leave. Go now, really! We mean it. This is how perfect it is. You can thank us later. As a example of how kind and thoughtful these owners are, my wife had a bit of a sinus infection and by Sunday needed some meds. Olivia...

My wife and I stayed at La Rongere for three nights on our drive through Northern France in April, 2011. We stayed in room number four (farthest from the house) of this four room B&B. La Rongere is located in the small town of Charge, a short 10 minute drive from Amboise. The highlights of our stay were: 1) the...

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in August, and would certainly recommend it to other couples. The main house looks beautiful, very well maintained, with a large parking area for guests. Guest accommodation is situated in the garden, each with it's own independent access, and seating / patio furniture. Our room was of a good size, with new...

Traveled with a family of two adults and 4 children. The place is located in a village in the area of Amboise. The room was fantastic, comfortable and tidy. There is a very nice swimming pool, a big garden and table tennis, so the children love it there. I would like to mention the very nice hospitality of the hosting...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at la Rongere. Olivia made us most welcome with gratis aperitifs on arrival while we were enjoying the lovely swimming pool. It was a very hot day cycling and we very much appreciated the pool. The rooms were apart from the main house, were spacious and very comfortable and looked new. The breakfast was of...

Stayed here for 1 night and wished we had more! THE NICEST b&b..most welcoming and helpful owners...Amazing breakfast...beautifully decorated. They lent us their bikes to ride around the area - which is also a must do. Cannot recommend La Rongere enough and hope to stay there again one day.

We first stayed at LaRongere last June and couldn't wait to go back! This year, we stayed for four nights and wish we had been able to stay longer. La Rongere is everything one would want in a bed and breakfast--a comfortable place where you can really relax and enjoy the surrounding area, with friendly hosts who never seem too...

“Room 4 was at the end and was more exposed to the sun, therefore it got quite hot in there - even with the curtains. Other rooms seemed to have more shade.”
