My wife and I were very happy to spend two nights here. The motel was newly and very nicely renovated. The king sized bed was great. We were on the ground floor where it was convenient to move our belongings into the room through the sliding doors. The room was easily heated or cooled. The microwave and the refrigerator worked...

I cancelled my reservation before I even stayed due to the horrific customer service. I called to make sure that I was put into a pet friendly room, and the person on the phone was incredibly rude. First, they answered "Hello?". I didn't even know if I called the right number. I asked to confirm my reservation, and the person...

It was not a good experience at all. First all the lights are controlled by one main switch at the door. Which we were not told about and had to ask the desk clerk who was not friendly in the least bit. When we got into our room the heat was off and the temperature was at 13celceus. We cranked...

We stayed for 4 days and notified the owner early check out needed. Owner refused to credit for the unused days and ran our credit card for full price. Definitely does not cater to the corporate client and flexible travel needs like a chain does. Breakfast consists of a granola bar. We stay in 100's of hotel rooms every year...

Couldn't connect wifi, which was to be free but had to have door open to access, there was no coffee maker in the room, you needed to ring for service, coffee/tea was to be available in the lobby but limited to 7-10am, others in our group only had a shower in their room (no bathtub), ice was not accessible unless...

A clean and comfortable place to stay while exploring the lovely area around Elora, Ontario. As another reviewer noted, the rooms are basic but clean and and my bed was extremely comfortable. Peter is friendly and helpful at the desk and provides coffee, juice and often fruit in the morning. If you are looking for luxury, go elsewhere but for...

We were fortunate to have our Niece book us in to this stay and whilst it seemed very basic it was never the less comfortable and catered for our immediate needs. Shower and bed with a little Chinese restaurant next door and subway and Pizza parlour. There was no food, only in the morning a piece of fruit and a...

The hotel is reasonably priced. There is no pool. Iced is obtained by asking at the desk. The rooms are reasonably clean. I give them kudos for being recycle friendly. The bike trail is within blocks of the hotel and can be accessed easily. Choose a room closer to the desk. Avoid the end of the hall rooms (109) you...

This motel was nice, comfortable. Very clean. It was located on the outskirts of town wich made a very nice walk to check out the beautiful town of Elora. It is also is located next to a great little pizza shop, and a great convince store. The WiFi was not great, 50% at the best of times, which means less...

Expectations weren't high after the mixed ratings on here but the Village Inn was fine. Clean rooms and efficiently managed. Nothing special but the air conditioning worked and the bathrooms were passable. Elora is a very pretty town and although the Inn was on the main road and doesn't offer breakfast, there are plenty of places to eat. We had...
