they had massive construction going on which is what we all want to avoid when we go to a resort.. 8 am to 8 p.m we asked them to limit timings but they didn't stop it. It was very distrubing and we didn't get any peaceful time Food was amazing and service was too which is probably 20% time spent on resort ( eating ) and hence only because of that were giving 2 stars

It's a good resort, near the Sariska Dhela Gate (around 5 kms from the resort). Not a 5 star property (atleast at the moment). Book it directly with the resort's reservation team for the best price. Not many resorts near the Dhela gate and this one is definitely worth it. Mass construction going at the moment, which could be annoying to some people, (especially if you have high expectations in terms of maintenance) but the staff would try to accommodate your requests to make your stay comfortable. It's a big resort, with not well maintained central park. They do have cycling/some indoor/board games. Rooms are big, have AC with heater facility (if AC heating mode is not working, they will provide heater in the room). The food was good/average at times, (it's a mix) but their service is amazing, the staff is super co-operative and will help you out as far as possible. You can drive into the Sariska forest to visit Hanuman temple (around 20 Kms from the gate) on Tue/Sat (340 INR per car fees) but it's bumpy road across the forest. Take Safari directly from the Dhela Gate, cost around 5K for 6pax/per Jeep, they do have limited Jeeps available, so reach there by 1:30 pm for afternoon Safari. Overall, I would recommend this resort and look forward to my next stay :-).

This was my second trip to Sariska after many years of gap. I selected this place due to its overall appeal over internet. I would be honest, this place has got a huge potential and staff eg. Mr. Phool Singh try their best to make you feel comfortable but alas a lot is missing. Approach road (last 18kms) is almost bone breaking but excused as we were finally approaching a forest. Reception is average and even the walking paths internally are not kept well. Worst blot is the central courtyard which at some point was a pond and from the last almost 4 years is like a barren piece of land, owners did not even take basic initiative to convert it into a beautiful well paved garden. Rooms are basic, no TV, no Wifi, no proper almirah ( just a luggage desk). To my surprise for a so called five star property, no room service and even hote water comes at two times in a day. Airconditioner which has never been serviced makes noise almost like a generator. Makes you feel like you have come back to stay in hostel Life. During our stay their was construction going on with stary dogs moving inside premises, all this shows how careless the management and owners are about the overall approach. Food is basic but palatable, Yes the evening with bon fire, drinks and rajasthani music is a welcome addition. Place is quite close to gate number 2 of Sariska Tiger Reserve. I have stayed at other Jungle resorts around the country which are five star category, which are almost at stone throw point with in forest, this place is no way even near to them. I am still giving them 3 stars instead of two, because of welcoming and helpfull staff along with surroundings of nature which makes it livable. I strongly suggest owners to undertake a complete renovation of this property and run it more professionally. It has got huge potential. Wish them best of luck and wisdom.

The team at Vanaashrya lead by Mr. Raj at the management level, Mr. Phool Singh at the Restaurant and Mr. Hanuman Singh who leads the singing /dancing troupe combines to offer an excellent package on a property compromising of beautiful cottages which are both rustic yet having every possible amenity one may need. The rest of the staff though not named, are no less when it comes to service levels - which is one of the highlight of the resort. The resort, food, spread and safari (which was arranged by the resort) make an eclectic mix that resonates even after you checkout. It may not be a Taj or an Oberoi, but they do go the extra length to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast spread, lunch, evening tea & snacks, the dinner time singing and dancing and the excellent food served at dinner - the team does try to make everything possible. If you want a specific dish, let the team know in advance and they will make it for you. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind. And as luck would have it, we also spotted a Tigress during our safari. (In fact we were busy teaching our son how to pluck and eat berries straight from the trees and had given-up hope of seeing a Tiger or Tigress here). But there is a lot to explore and many hidden treasures in this area. The nearby attractions may appeal to those who are a bit adventurous. We did drive through a steep rough hilly track that accords some dramatic views to the medieval Neelkanth Mahadev Temple which stand tall (has been partly restored by ASI) surrounded by the ruins of the erstwhile Rajorgarh Fort and amongst the ruins of 200 temples that are clearly visible. Also visited the remains of the Naugaja temple, where on a high platform (jagati) stands a tall statue of the Jain tirthankara Shantinatha, carved in a light orangish-red sandstone. This is walking distance from the Neelkanth Shiv Temple. IMPORTANT: Approach road to Vanyaahrya via Rajgarh to Tehla is very rough and it is advisable to drive via Sikanadra - Dausa - Bhangarh - Tehla, which may add a few kilometres but the road is in excellent condition (barring one patch after Bhangarh which is not too bad). That's how we drove back. Highly recommend the resort.
