I loved my experience at Moyo Mmoja. I was initially only supposed to stay for a night but I fell in love with the place and people so I stayed there my entire trip. Moyo Mmoja is a Guesthouse that supports orphan homes throughout Bagamoyo. I was lucky enough to meet one of the founders, Susanne and her amazing son...

I lived at Moyo Mmoja for 9 days and was lucky enough to have a room with a fan and en suite bathroom. The staff were extremely supportive. The situation was excellent for all the things I needed to do. My fellow guests were a lively bunch of Scandinavians. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in...

The rooms have AC, are clean and simple in a good way. The guesthouse is close to the town centre, and also to...

Knowing that the income freom this guesthouse goes to the Moyo Mmoja projects for orphans (that I was lucky to visit) makes it easy to say that this is the best place in Bagamoyo. The rooms are basic but clean and nice. I came at the hottest time of the year when the rainy season was delayed and must say...

This is one of the most welcoming guesthouses I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. My children were welcomed and could enjoy a safe space to run around (and catch geckos). The staff were very helpful in all aspects. The beach and town are 5 mins walk with restaurants bars . However we preferred to use the kitchen.

The kitchen is well equipped and working good. The location is good. Not in town so a little more silent but stil close enough to town...
