Hi debdoestravel! Thank you so much for telling the TripAdvisor world about your dining and dancing experience at Bayview Wildwood Resort. Jamie Williams has been performing at our resort for about 25 years. He started with an acoustic guitar and singing and has become one of our most popular one-man bands! Adding a great meal with a group of friends...

We stayed at the Cottages at Port Stanton through a timeshare. We do this annually for our winter girls weekend away. This is our 2nd time visiting here and by far our favorite place! We had cottage 402 which is directly across from the hot tub. The cottages are awesome - clean, modern, and spacious. My only complaints were that...

Hi tracybug, We are happy that your Girls Getaway was a success! The large cottages with kitchens are very popular for friends/family getaways where you want to relax and be together - with no schedules. I am sorry that the master bedroom was cold - I let my maintenance team know about this issue. Sometimes the heat vent gets blocked....

This review based on New Years Eve weekend (our 2nd such). We had a great time, and will likely return at some point, but note that this is specific to a family New Years party (see last para.). For us it was a great family gathering. If you are considering this resort, read all the reviews and map them to...

Hello bacchus05, Wow - what an amazing and detailed review of our resort! Your thorough description of your New Years vacation will be so helpful for other families considering our resort. We have had quite a winter this year - mountains of snow and very little ice. Your comment about an onshore rink is astute as we have been considering...

This is our second time back and it was even better than the first! We first stayed here in October 2010 and it was absolutely perfect weather with a beautiful backdrop of fall colours. This time we stayed the week before Christmas with just a perfect amount of snow and cold! Not cold enough for skating but enough snow to...

Hi Tea P, Thank you for visiting our resort, for the 2nd time, this past December. I am glad that you had snow during your stay so that the kids could enjoy an "old fashioned winter holiday"! It was definitely hit and miss this winter as to what the snow/ice conditions would be. Now that you have seen the Fall...

We stayed in January, so was pretty quiet. The staff are lovely. The food was super and the service was great. The rooms were adequate, nothing fancy, but clean. Loved the included skis and snow shoes. The train was a bit loud going by. It was nice not cooking for a few day, having paid for our breakfast and dinners....

Hello livin4wknd (love this name!), We are very glad that you enjoyed your quiet getaway in January. It is always nice to go somewhere where you don't have to cook! Even better when your dining experience is good and you like the staff. Thank you for sharing this through TripAdvisor. We hope that you will come back and visit us...

Reminds me of the resort from Dirty Dancing. Older resort, but beautiful view and everything you need is there for a quiet holiday. Food is good, big portions, and good service. Right on the water. Nice fishing spot. Only downfall was the train that goes by numerous times a day. Not the resorts fault.

We stayed here in a party of 13. Some of us were in one of the larger, newer homes, and some of us were in 2 of the cottage semi accommodations. The larger, newer home, (sorry, not sure what to call them), was mostly decent. The carpets are starting to bunch in a couple of the rooms, which is unsightly....

I was attending a four day euchre tournament and I enjoyed it immensely. The rooms were adequate and clean. The recreation hall had ping pong, billiards and other table games. Unfortunately I didn't get to play them all. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There are a lot of stairs to the rooms. There are limited rooms available with...

We rented the Manor House and the Martin House for a 50th anniversary. It was perfect..the century old house has been updated but has kept its warmth and charm. It is self contained with every thing needed. The Martin House sits across the road again updated with everything. The staff were excellant in assisting for this event, and this friendly...

There are pluses and minuses. The location is lovely but really, anywhere in this district is. There are many activities. (however they charge extra for most of them and they are not discount prices). The food is nice overall. The restaurant staff are lovely. Jeff was amazing, even with his packing and presentation with take away. Much appreciated. Thank you...
