The staff at the Honeypot were very friendly, knew exactly who we were and efficiently showed us to our campsite in no time. The campsite had a tap close by with good shade and lots of green grass. Close to the clean ablution facility with a nice hot shower. The pool was green and could not be used but overall...

I have been stopping over here for many years. I visited this place in 2003 the first time. Back in the starting days of new Mozambique. I remember staying in little dome tents on wooden stages. Over the years this place grew with its clients. It was always a easy stop over. Next to main road. The rooms was clean...

Arrived at about 7pm after ringing all day to confirm a booking. No one answered any emails and all the phone numbers were wrong or not working. We are a couple with a toddler and requested a room with a bed for our child. We were literally put in a porta cabin with 4 single beds in a row -...

When travelling to get to the beach, Honeypot is good for a stop over. Their family rooms with air-conditioning are really very welcoming - the linen is clean and the water is hot! It is not a destination that you plan to go on holiday to, but as a one night stop-over, it does the job! Beware of mosquitoes and...

Most of the Honey Pot is horrible and we stayed here only because it was all we could find on the way further north. When we returned through Xai Xai we managed to find a better place on the coast. We stayed in one of the small chalets and I now know how my dog feels in their kennel. We...

This is a very well run overnight spot when traveling though the area. I can highly recommend it. The accommodation on offer is broad, the property is well maintained and the food is good. It is also just off the main road but very safe.

This is an easy stop over in Xai Xai when travelling as its close to the road and one of the most affordable. We paid for a 3 sleeper in a container modified room, but got a very small single room. It was clean, neat and tidy. Hot water and aircon, plus tea and coffee in room. Everything you need...

Avoid this place if you can! This is exactly the place you should not go to, not even in transit, when on holiday. There are several reasons. First of all, their price policy and payment. When we arrived there, the prices were different from the ones on their site, of which we had a print out with us. The receptionist...

The Honeypot was our first port of call, a campsite with self-catering, one bedroom wooden chalets, communal ablutions and a restaurant. Situated on the EN1 near Xai-Xai. I was delighted to spend the night there, our accommodations suited us perfectly, although the room was small it was neat as a pin, very affordable and clean. Our meal in the restaurant...

We recently travelled to Vilanculos and stopped over at Honey Pot as a half way break (in both directions). Nice simple accomodation - a bed to sleep on (with the heat there is no chance of sleeping in), a fair menu at the bar and a pool to chill out by. Do not expect a Hilton Hotel - very plain...
