Cesar and Ronny run this very nice hostal in the center of Baracoa. The main square is about 5 minutes away on foot. From Baracoa you can make trips to different beaches, the mountains, Humboldt parc and do river excursions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a wide selection of good traditional / local food options for dinner...

The room that we stayed in was recently renovated and came complete with double beds and its own balcony. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided great local knowledge and advice about local attractions. The breakfast was excellent and the seafood dinner was very good as well. The accommodation is located close to the town centre and is...

TLDR - stay somewhere else In many ways this was the nicest casa we stayed in during our time in Cuba - great location close to the central square in Baracoa, the room was stunning (more like a hotel than a casa) with a great bathroom (although pitiful water pressure), breakfast was pretty good (5 CUC) and the dinners (normally...

We were very welkome by the owners(2 brothers cecar and Ronny) The rooms were very simple and basic. In the 4 days we stayed we had to use our same towel. Each 1. We were lucky to have the inside room with bathroom in the corridor so our trashbasket from the bathroom was emptied every day. Our friends however had...

We only stayed one night before we had to move but chose to eat upstairs which turned out to be our best meal in Cuba ( and not just because the local salsa de coco is such a refreshing and flavourful change). Everything was good and slightly different to the standard fare even with the salads. Nothing was oily ,...

We didn't stay in Casa Cesar hence the title. We had booked via the excellent B&BinVinales agency and we did as they requested and rang to confirm the 6 month old booking 3 days before arriving. All was OK then so we made the journey from Santiago to be told on arrival we were being bumped to Cesar's brothers Casa...

We stayed at Casa Cesar for 2 nights. Our room had a window (does not happen often in Cuba) - this was good, the room was clean, the bathroom was ok, too. The first night we had dinner at Casa Cesar. Cesar's mother said that it would be a three-course meal: salad, main course and dessert. We had heard of...

Central location (between Viazul and town center), clean rooms, great food, friendly hosts. Bring some earplugs if you want to sleep as most of the rooms are right next to the busy street. Nice rooftop terrace for watching the sunset.
