Three of us spent 2 nights here and felt we had made a very good choice. The casa's garden and terraces offer an oasis of green in the little town, even so soon after the devastation wrought by Hurricane Matthew. (The seafront is bare of trees and rather bleak). It is very centrally located, right next to the green hill...

This is really a very good place to stay. The family is friendly, the food is great and the rooms are comfortable. We learned a great deal about Cuban culture in our three nights at this wonderful place. You can't go wrong here. The other reviews are on the mark. Dinner is a must!

During our tour in Cuba, that was the best Casa from all. A warmly welcome, delicious food, nice old styled milieu. Don't go out for dinner! The family offers the best, and the price worth more than you can imagine. Take a big breath in a rocking chair whit some real chocolate what you can find in the town, or...

Best casa we stayed at! The room was small but nice and we had our own little terrace. Breakfast was superb, with freshly made juices, coffee and hot chocolate from Baracoa fruit, bread , egg and always a little extra like a piece of cucuruchu (local sweat treat) or a biscuit and also dinner was really good. But what makes...

The best casa we've seen on this 5 weeks trip in Cuba. Isabel was the heart of the house, who took care of their guests from the beginning until the end - heat and singing. Isabel had personally meeting us at the bus station. The agreement was found, although we used English and Isabel Spanish. The room was spacious and...

In 3 weeks of traveling Cuba this was the best place I stayed in. La casa is situated in a wonderful colonial house with a big garden and an opened dining-room. The owners a very nice. Isabel walks through the house - always smiling and singing. In the evening I spent time with Pepe watching Baseball and listening to the...

A beautiful Casa with very nice people. We booked this Casa through our Casa owner in Havana. When we arrived to Baracoa, Pepe (Isabel's son) waited for us at the airport and took us to the casa. Pepe speaks English and he gave us all the information we needed and more. Isabel is a lovely woman! very nice and pleasant,...

This is THE place you want to stay in Cuba! As we have learned during our traveling, the casa you stay at, influences a lot the experience you have in the city / village. No doubt about it, Baracoa was our favorite place, and it has a lot to do with Isabel and her family. They made us feel the...
