It is very difficult to combine 2 very important things: the relative proximity to the city and all the advantage of staying in the peaceful place close to nature. Here you have it all plus much much more. The nature is a REAL nature with tons of birds (including toucans ! we saw them !), monkeys (saw them !), butterflies,... More

We stayed at Coconut Lodge from May 26-29 2016. This place is a little gem near the city. We were staying 6 days in Panama City, and decided to split our stay in rustic style, and modern city style...and it worked! We stayed here at our first part of the trip (rustic style). The owner, Conrad is a young warm,... More

I read a lot of reviews of the Coconut Lodge before booking it. I focused on some of the more critical ones just to see what those few complain about. Well, I am not sure what there is to be negative about relative to this lodge. My fiance and I stayed here and had a most enjoyable time. The property... More

Very comfortable stay in Panama City. We had issues with flights so arrived a day late giving us only 1 full day to explore. Conrad took us out bright and early and acted as our chauffeur to make sure that we saw all that we wanted to see - 2 hours hike through Parque Natural Metropolitano (recommend for kids!), Panama... The glowing reviews on TripAdvisor were all true. We had a great stay at Coconut Lodge. Conrad and co. bent over backwards to make sure we were well taken care of. We really enjoyed the pool . . . it was a wonderful way to cool off at the end of the day. Some notes for prospective travellers: a) The... More

We stayed here the last days of our trip in Panama. It's a great alternative for staying in Panama City. You do need a car. Also the options for dinner are not so big. We would recommand to have dinner one night at the lodge and order pizza's from a nearby restaurant another time. We were suggested the Italian restaurant... More

Conrad owns a little jewel far from the hubbub of the big city. Our room was excellent, tastefully decorated and overlooked the pool. The hotel surroundings are calm, lush and beautiful, Breakfast is good, especially the fruit platter. Coconut lodge is, it must be said, rather far from the centre and taxis can be unwilling to drive that far or... More

We felt very welcomed by Conrad & were happy to stay at a place outside of the city. The backyard is very magical & there's plenty of places to sit outdoors. Some things to note - the new owner is not a chef & the meals were very simple and the room smelt a bit musty which is probably a... More

About 20 minutes out of the city in a residential area, the quiet of Coconut Lodge was bliss after two weeks of noisy hostels! We spent 4 days here and absolutely loved it.
