We loved this quirky little place that if full of character and love. We only stayed for one night but we were made to feel very welcome. The welcome glass of red with olives was a very touching introduction. The room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was lovely with everything you could want....even dark chocolate, an absolute delight!! I...

We recently had a holiday on the Canal du Midi - one week on the boat and one week in a gite. The boat base was in Le Somail and as we could not take over the boat until late in the day we needed an overnight stop close to the canal. Well, we could not have got any closer....

Dirk and Inge have the most wonderful house on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Beautiful location. Fascinating house. Amazing value with a great fresh breakfast thrown in. Restaurants within a few hundred yards - in fact one next door! We were cycling the canal so can't recommend it highly enough to you cyclists out there.

Stayed at 8 different places on or near the canal. Everything from basic to expensive hotels. This was the most fun. Dirk and Inge are gold standard hosts. Great fun place to stay in a beautiful well located property. Lovely breakfast was taken in the front garden, where the statue of Neptune is situated, next to the canal. Dirke gave...

Chose this as result of trip advisor review and were overjoyed with our visit. Dirke And Inge are brilliant hosts and the house is full of French character and they made us so welcome. Great rooms and delicious French breakfast with home made jams. Whether you want a night before or after doing a boat trip on the canal du...

Wonderful view on the canal, cosy terrace, excellent ambience, great staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Dirk and Inge are so helpful, attentive and approachable! The standard breakfast was excellent and offered a great variety of beverages, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and marmelades. A huge breakfast, included in the price of the room! We had a room on the second floor:...

We selected this B & B based upon the Trip Advisor Reviews - and were not disappointed. My partner is attempting to walk most of the Canal du Midi from Port-la-Nouvelle to Toulouse so a good night's sleep at each stage is a prerequisite. Here we found it so peaceful and enjoyable that we stayed for two nights instead of...

Dirk and Inge warmed us up quickly after we arrived on a rainy afternoon on bicycles. We were quickly given cups of excellent coffee and cookies and then shown to our room. The room was nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. We were given a very nice breakfast the next morning and pedaled off down the road. I would stay here...
