An excellent stay in a well maintained and clean room. Lots of thoughtful extras that take this beyond your average B&B and the warm and kindness of the hosts Gretta and Calum sets this apart. Excellent central location on Benbecula with easy access to both North and South Uists. A sitting room is available and there are plenty of evening...

We did not intend to stay here but our booked accommodation had been mixed up so instead of a twin room we were offered a double room, so my friend and I took to the road and came across Borve Guest House. The owner was a great host and offered us two single rooms which were great. The rooms were...

World class breakfasts: the porridge, Stornoway black pudding and Stornoway white pudding plus the smoked salmon and oatcakes we particularly enjoyed. The owners are a pleasant, very helpful local couple. Brilliant birdwatching - a corncrake turned up outside the kitchen window 1 evening and outside the dining room during breakfast. 2yards outside our window, linnets were constantly twittering their lovely...

Took off on a long Beach walk as soon as I arrived and enjoyed an idyllic late afternoon sunny stroll directly onto the beach from the guest house. A great night in a very comfy room and lovely warm host.

Stayed 2 nights and thought the owners had thought of everything and were very helpful, breakfast first class and good to be able to eat promptly at 7.30 if you are working. A very pleasant spot, would definitely stay again.

My wife an I spent two very comfortable nights at the G/H. Our hosts, friendly and most welcoming, provided an excellent breakfast - just the thing when cycle touring the area. The room itself was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. The location of the G/H was good being near two good hotels providing evening meals. For the bird spotters...

We had a fantastic 3 nights here. The best fruit salad for breakfast ever. The room was immaculate, comfy and well appointed, and our hosts gave us excellent tips for restaurants and what to do on a wet Sunday! They even got me a wee birthday cupcake, when they found out the reason for our visit - which definitely made...

A great find as a base for touring and walking the islands, close to the town, restaurants and shops. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Very good breakfast and helpful, friendly and charming hosts. A small lounge area in the breakfast room. Would recommend staying here.
