We arrived on the 19th August for 14 nights. We arrived at 20:45 and was given a warm welcome. We were instantly escorted to the restaurant for some much needed food which was very nice and plentiful. The Niggle bits: Air con is 5 Euro a night. (Low Cost Holidays stated it was free in August). You do need it!...

Holiday wasn't totally what it was made out to be. To start the food I thought was poor, as coming as a family of 7,not usually seen as fussy eaters ready to expect the Greek cuisine was certainly not what was expected...the food wasn't thought about for young children, only children where allowed to eat ice cream... And by being...

We had amazing vacation in Asterias last week. I was in Rhodes for the first time - so we planned to discover the island. We book the Asterias as a all inclusive package one day before the arrival - it was 320 euros for a person per week including the return flight from Prague and transfer - so it was...

This is a small, friendly, family run hotel with beautifully laid out and maintained gardens. A children's play area is situated within the grounds. There are also a small number of tabletop games machines which have a small charge for use. No lift is necessary as hotel only has ground and first floor rooms and there is step and ramp...

We read views before booking and have always been sceptical of bad reviews but our experience was not a good one. The food was plain and repetative, rice, (packet) mashed potatoe, salad for lunch and dinner. After our first meal we thiught 'lovely, fresh melon for desert' ..... not so great after the same thing twice a day for a...

Spent a great 2 weeks at the Asterias. A few British families there on our first week, then 2nd week mainly Russian/Eastern Europeans, but this wasn't a problem. Like all nationalities - some are friendly, some are not. We go to Greece to live the Greek life for a while, so this hotel was just what we wanted. Lovely fresh...

My husband and I read all the reviews before we went and we were really looking forward to this holiday, we were not disappointed! The hotel was spotless and the cleaners worked very hard as did the kitchen staff. The food was just what we expected and we didn't struggle to find something to eat at any time as there was...

My husband and I had a great 7 night sunshine filled chilling break here. Tholos itself is really quiet with just a few hotels and shops. not the place for those looking for night life. Due to self inflicted illness we didn't venture out of Tholos but the bus service to Rhodes town seemed to be regular and worked well....
