This is a fantastic, quiet, peaceful hotel and a wonderful place to sit around an absolutely beautiful infinity pool overlooking the beach, ocean and gorgeous Andaman isles on the horizon. I stayed in two rooms: a deluxe hilltop bungalow which was extremely luxurious with a large and equipped dressing area/bathroom and fantastic outdoor shower, and had as well it's own...

This place offer all to relax and enjoy nature, hospitality, tranquility for a couple of days on this beautiful Island, ...! Having said this, please keep in mind, this is Koh Yao Yai, this is a beautiful place just at the beach, run by what feels like a big family, a small resort, ... Managing perspective, this is not a...

Everyone at the resort is really nice and kind. The kitchen was amazing, the squid salad and tom yum gai were definitely one of the best I've ever had. Breakfast buffet was simple but good. Highly recommended for anybody, but it seemed like to be the best for the family with little children.

We had a great stay here - My wife and I had one of the deluxe hilltop bungalows at the rear of the property, and our son had a standard room. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very spacious and comfortable, set in well tended grounds. The 5 hilltop bungalows have their own separate infinity pool - VERY nice indeed with...

This place has just been amazing. Our room was the most budget one which was great value. The rooms were cleaned daily, in good shape and very nicely built. I found it amazing. The food was great and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to a friend and especially to families since the staff is...

This hotel is family owned and you definitely feel like you are staying on someone's private property. When we pulled up in the taxi we didn't think we were at the right place at first! They first led us to a room with two double beds, but being on vacation with my boyfriend, we really wanted 1 queen bed so...

Well if you want to know something about this place I'm gonna tell you really honestly! There is only one thing I didn't fancy and it was the mattress from the bed! The rest is awesome, for the price they ask per night is almost like its free! Kho Yao Yai is the type of island that nothing is going on,but...

Paid 2300 THB a night got a nice bungalow with A/C, a small TV and lots of channels however none in english. The breakfast is bad you get to choose from boiled eggs, scrambled or fried with bacon and tomato. There is also cereal, white toast, super sweet reconstituted orange juice, small dry pancakes, pineapple and watermelon slices. There are...

First of all, you should know the beach isn't great. If you're looking for a white sandy beach with clear water, this isn't for you. But, if you're like me and that's not a priority, you have a lovely pool near the beach, great rooms, amazing views, caring staff and excellent food. The whole atmosphere of the place is very...

We loved this place - it is owned by a local family and you can tell they take great care of it. The first 4 nights we stayed in one of the hilltop deluxe villa's - these are beautiful wooden villa's with an outdoor rain shower and a porch were you can relax. We decides to stay 2 extra nights...

“If you have the budget, choose a bungalow on the hill. They are more private and the pool is not as crowded as the one by the main building.”
