We spent a night at Opal Hot Spring and the place we stayed was nice, clean, neat and tidy with bathroom attached. By the time we reached there, it was already late and near to midnight. It was really nice of the owner to wait up for us since we were the last one to check in that day. We...

Our last family visit to Opal Springs was almost 3 years ago. At the time the pools were looking very tired and unloved. It was pleasing to see new owners ( research shows they took over 2015) have made a difference. They are restoring this hidden gems heart and soul. We are a family of 4; parents with two teenage...

We just called in on our way through Matamata. Classic older style hot pool complex. My boys enjoyed their swim at a reasonable price. A wide range of snack food on site. Friendly staff. Can't comment on accommodation 😊

Quiet little park out of the way of traffic and noise. Hounds are nice. Only down fall we had was there was a lot of rain around the time we visited and the sites were just mud. Hot springs were nice but very crowded.

This camp is really great. Nice tidy park like grounds. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean amenities. And the pools are heavenly. Camp is quiet, in its own little world and away from noisy roads and railways. Also has a dump station for our motor homes.

Good place to stop if your going to hobbiton as we did. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are pretty good and clean. Got to pay for wifi. Few locals about but they are friendly enough. Would stay here again.

My wife and I came to this Holiday Park just for one Night and this we should regret: From the beginning we felt like at home because of the very friendly staff. We have booked a Motel here and what we got is nothing less than wonderful! Big, clean, well equipped and anything worked like you expected. There are 3...

Cheap but cute. Camping is a not very big, home also to some people. There are thermal swimming pool, coin-operated washing machines / dryers, showers and bathrooms. The employees are friendly and smiling. Cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms are not that great but if you know adapt the value for money it is worth.
