This hotel was our final stop after a two-week journey across Thailand. Surprisingly, Koh Samui turned out to be more lively and bustling than we expected. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find tranquility in this corner of the island during our last days. From the warm welcome at check-in, where the staff kindly allowed us to store our belongings until the room was ready, to the actual room experience, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was elegantly furnished, and the highlight was the well-appointed bathroom with a classic wash area alongside the typical European amenities. The dinner at the restaurant (Ã la carte and at an additional cost) was delicious, with prices reflecting the quality. The breakfast offered a diverse and tasty selection. A significant highlight was the exceptional housekeeping service. They introduced themselves on the first evening and even turned down the bed for us. The room was consistently clean, and each night after our city explorations, we were surprised with a handwritten note and small gestures. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! My husband and I chose Buri Rasa in Koi Samui for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better getaway for our special time together. The service was fantastic; everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming from day one. We found the place very clean, peaceful and homey, especially with the authentic island feel we got from all the luscious greenery surrounding us. The buffet style breakfast was phenomenal, especially their omelettes and iced cappuccinos. The employees at the front desk were especially helpful in providing tips and recommendations for local places to visit, and even supporting us in booking excursions and transportation through them. Also, some of the most lovely massages we had in Koi Samui were at Buri Rasa right by the ocean with the sweetest massage therapists. We also enjoyed some lovely evening walks at the resort’s beach and swims in the ocean. In addition, the location of the resort was a huge plus, within 10-15 minutes of the airport and the bustling downtown area, but still far enough away for our stay to be quiet and calm. The local area was easy to get around with a rental scooter while there. Overall, we highly recommend Buri Rasa and would definitely come back. Until next time!

Our family of four, including my husband, myself, our 14-year-old daughter, and our 9-year-old son, had a perfect summer holiday week at Buri Rasa, Koh Samui, Thailand.
Coming home we realised what a unique experience we had because of the relationship the staff managed to create in just a few days.
We feel like we know them all; C2 has a special place in our heart, no doubt about it. So does Jun and Rit for keeping an extra eye on our boy, making him feel so special!! And the chef: Sun. Sweet Sima and Big took us on a day trip around the island, and it was the best day ever. And we must mention: Smile, sawadee khaaaaaa Shompoo, Poppy, Man the drinks maker, the new Darling doing so great, Tom, Blue, Tam, Joy, the kindest attentive Arm, Zaw, Meaw, Pok, Tae, Run, Ice, Kylie. Ta keeping the overview at all times. Pou and Nuch keeping everybody relaxed with great massages (and won the most Bingo prices!). Fai and Taeng keeping our room and serving us delicious thai treats. Sorry for the ones we left out here... the ones working behind the scenes... we know you are just as great.
So YES: The best part of our stay was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and personable, always ready to share their own stories or give us space if we preferred. We played Bingo with them, which was great fun. The staff seemed relaxed and genuinely happy in their roles, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. The General Manager Manfred and his George were also present and very approachable, frequently engaging with both staff and guests.
We were greeted with warm smiles, refreshing welcome drinks, and cool peppermint towels, which were much appreciated after our journey. The staff ensured everything was in order – and so they did in abundance during our whole stay.
Our room (family seaview) was spotless upon arrival and maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed.
The beachfront restaurant served excellent food at all meals with a variety of options that pleased everyone in the family. The chef tailored the spice level of the food to suit each of our preferences. They set up the loveliest barbeques and buffets on the sand, an experience of a lifetime.
The aesthetics of the hotel were simply beautiful, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere everywhere. The beachfront location was just like in the commercials – pristine and picturesque, perfect for morning swims, activities during the day, all meals and stunning sunset views.
Overall, our experience at Buri Rasa Koh Samui was exceptional. We all highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui and looking for a tranquil and luxurious retreat.

Enchanting place, village surrounded by greenery, with attention to every detail Beach towels are available for guests and change daily, beach bag and slippers. Staff always available to accommodate every request, always smiling and kind. Restaurant with a wide choice and different dishes for lunch and dinner, delicious cocktails, smoothies and fresh fruit smoothies! Outdoor spa in a wonderful setting with very good girls: top massages! Sima, sweet and kind, welcomed us and accompanied us during our stay. A room was available for guests to shower after check out, which was important because it gave us the opportunity to stay in the village until the transfer to the airport set for 5pm. Having walked along the entire Chaweng Beach I can say without a doubt that the Buri Rasa stretch is the most beautiful during the day, and the most romantic and dreamy in the evening. Ps: I really appreciated the attention to the environment (plastic free village) and to non-food waste Today is the last day...and I definitely don't want to leave!

Resort in perfect Thai style, not large in size but with great attention to detail and with helpful and very attentive staff. The glance is magnificent, a well-articulated structure immersed in lush nature with orchids and flowers at every corner. The very spacious rooms have a bathroom equipped with a large tub useful for cooling off during the hottest days, you can also opt for the private swimming pool. Very abundant international or Thai breakfast with excellent products, if you then decide to stop for lunch or dinner you will find dishes of excellent quality and preparation, to be enjoyed sitting on the sand by the sea. Also to be appreciated is the green and plastic free spirit throughout the resort.

We spent a total of 7 nights in Buri Rasa and we can sum it up in one word: excellent. The hotel only has around 30 rooms, so it is very family-like and everyone knows each other after the first day. You just feel at home here. We booked a boutique veranda on the ground floor. The room offers enough space (there were three of us staying). The bathroom is also a good size. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are provided. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires, even different egg variations such as Egg Benedict or Egg Florentine. The fruit is freshly cut for you. The employees are all extremely friendly and always ask if everything is OK or if they can help you. The manager Manfred is always present and always has an open ear for the guests' wishes and questions. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable and not too high. The prices for the massages in the hotel were not much more expensive than on the beach and are excellent. Both ladies treat each person individually and massage excellently. We had a few massages in the hotel. They were very, very good. The beach is just perfect: fine white sand, clear sea and shallow. The same goes for the service on the beach. The staff sometimes read your wishes from your eyes. Next to the hotel there are 2 "massage huts" on the beach to the left and right. There are also many beach vendors with food (chicken soup, grilled corn, chicken skewers, mangos, ....). We always went out for dinner. There is everything your heart desires. However, it is still pretty empty, you can still feel Corona. This is also mentioned again and again in conversations with the Thais. But a lot of renovations are being done. Excursions can also be booked through the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and are already thinking about booking for next year. The welcome was very friendly and warm. We were then shown around the hotel, which impresses with its harmonious architecture in the garden village style. There are eye-catchers everywhere with beautiful plants and small seating areas. The ground floor rooms always seem to have a small private pool on the terrace area. We had a spacious family room on the first floor with a large balcony with a view of the greenery. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully furnished and lovingly decorated.
We had booked overnight accommodation with breakfast, which offers a lot of choice, from bread, toast, sausage and cheese, jams etc. to Thai food, freshly prepared egg dishes, pancakes, salads, fresh fruit, cereals and muffins and pastries and good coffee in every imaginable variation and much more... Even Thai noodle soup (from the kitchen) was offered. In my opinion, a perfect start to the day.
The restaurant offers a very good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The selection of drinks at the bar was very good. The cocktails were very well mixed. The restaurant area, the bar and the beach club are very inviting and pleasantly designed. This hotel offers everything that usually only larger hotels can offer.
The very attentive and helpful staff deserves special mention, whose personal and friendly manner makes the stay even more pleasant. They try to fulfill requests immediately.
Manager Manfred seems to have a very good hand in running the hotel. In terms of staff management, we were positively impressed by the random selection of teams for the next planning phase; this way, no fixed working groups are formed and the support and flexibility of the employees remains at a high level. The respectful way they treated each other was noticeable.

I have been visiting Buri Rasa on Samui for seven years now (with interruptions), and a lot has changed.
Let's start with the positive: the location is still great, a small green paradise in a great hotel complex on Chaweng Beach. The kitchen was also great, and the food served for dinner was excellent.

Not so great: check-in was a bit bumpy, the rooms were not yet available. No free-to-air TV channels in the room. The beds were made smaller.
The prices, for example for alcoholic drinks, are incomprehensibly high. The breakfast buffet has been scaled down considerably, bacon, for example, is only available on request and not available at all the next morning. This should really be standard. Nevertheless, many thanks to Khun Arm for the great service, at least at the breakfast buffet.
No entertainment program in the evenings on the beach, so only two tables were occupied on Saturday evening, while it was buzzing outside.
On request: there is no entertainment program in May!!
Dangerous: The inventory on the terrace. Two wooden chairs, one of which had a huge splinter sticking out that could have caused serious injuries if you sat down carelessly. An absolute no-go: The fact that an employee (uninvited and without being asked!!) came to the table when there was a seafood platter for dinner, took the cutlery, cut up a crab, pulled the meat out of the animal with his bare hands and then put it on the plate....... Sorry Buri Rasa Samui, that is disgusting and completely unacceptable. All in all, a very disappointing stay, which is really just a shame. In previous years, it really was a TOP address.

The hotel has undergone a partial renovation during the Covid time. Rooms and furniture have been updated and are very well equipped with modern facilities such as spacious bathrooms, air conditioning & ceiling fan, complimentary high speed wi-fi, LED streaming television, Bluetooth sound bar, In room telephone, bathrobes, custom bath amenities, hairdryer, private laptop size safety box, complimentary Nespresso machine, private balcony or terrace.
