We stayed only for 1 night because of its location to the airport and we had an early flight the next day. Didn't know what to expect but was overwhelmed by the friendliness & Kindness of Att and his family. The Room was lovely large, clean .comfortable very traditional Unique if you want my wife absolutely loved it The location in fairness is a about a 1.5 km from chaweng hence its next to airport But that was not an issue as Att kindly offered to drive into Chaweng to let us sightsee he also gave us a tour and suggested places to visit with the children, Not only did he do this for us he even picked us up in the evening. Due to Att & his families kindness we had a wonderful time whilst staying here I would Highly Recommend Faungvu Villa

Stayed from Jan. 31 to Feb 3. Love every minute of it in terms of the homeliness and helpfulness of the manager, Mr. Art. He speaks both German and English (self taught). Each room is actually a self contained Thai style bungalow unit, very clean, spacious, with shower and good size toilet, closet and, even a nice dresser. Queen bed is clean and comfortable. There are towels & toilet paper. No toiletries. No daily change of bed sheets. It is about 5-10 minutes from the airport without traffic. May sometimes be noisy when aircraft takes off, but it doesn't bother me since air traffic is not busy. You can request to be picked up from the airport for 200 bahts. The proprietor's wife can also do your laundry at a charge. You can order breakfast, lunch or dinner ahead if you have no time to eat outside. There is on-site motorcycle for hire. If you need anything, email your request ahead, and Mr. Art will do his best to accommodate you...You get personal attention with sincerity.. It's a very family-like atmosphere. It is about a 700 meters walk to the shops and shopping area. Chaweng Beach is about a 20 mins. walk away. I like the quaint & quietness of this place. But I will return in 3 days to stay one more night here as I have to go somewhere from Feb 4-6. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quietness yet too far from the town action. I mark this as unsuitable for family with children because it does not have any pool or activities on site. These are however, within driving distance.

I had visited this villa now in two occasions just eight days apart; the second time as a result of the good service I received the first one. The location of this villa is very convenient for those catching an early flight from Samui airport. The resort is very close to the departure lounge (please note that departures and arrivals have different entrances and arrivals is a bit far and you will normally not be allowed to cross from arrivals to the departure section of the airport). The proximity is good but it might take a bit to get used to the noise of planes landing and taking off, it did not bother me at all, besides, they stop altogether from around 11pm till 6:30am depending of the time of the year; allowing you to have a good night rest. The customer service of this family is really what set them apart; the owner, Att (short for Attakorn),and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating. On my first visit I called to check the price I saw on a website and Att told me that was wrong and he was not even aware of the existence left alone the information on that page. After a few minutes, he called me to say he has check that page and although the price and info was wrong he will honour it, and he did with the honest and nice smile that he seems to wear permanently. He also offered to take me next morning to the airport on his car. The was no a doubt about where I will stay the next time. I called to make the booking and he came to pick us up from the pier (waiting there for us for over an hour as our ferry was delayed) and taking us to the airport next morning. The second time we also have dinner there and you should expect large portions, more like having dinner at a friend house than on a restaurant. The food was very nice and quite cheap. Afterward we join tables with them Diana nice after dinner friendly chat (he likes to learn languages and currently is trying to learn Spanish, so if you speak it he will be glad to have you around for a chat). The rooms are clean and tidy and they are very flexible and accommodating if you require special arrangements. Over all a very pleasant stay both times and certainly a place I will comeback and recommend. Please note that there are not many places around where to eat or do some shopping, the area seems to be a bit isolated in that respect and you will require a vehicle to go to nearby places with a larger selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

This Place is amazing I suggest this Villa to everyone you get treated like family and it's an amazing place to stay. The owner and his wife are very good people. They go out of the way to help you. The price is very good and you get a whole villa to yourself! Usually the other people staying there are very friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I got in to Ko Samui, very late at night without any reservations, so went by recommendation from another traveler in the taxi. This is a small villa/bungalow complex each of which has bathroom and AC The couple running it are super friendly and helpful with all the old style concern for there guests that can make a Thai vacation a real pleasure It is about a ten minute walk from the airport exit on the main road just turn right and it's down the road on your right at the end of a small lane. It is near the runways so you do get the sound of flights arriving and departing but I really didn't find this a problem. The friendly attitude and concern for me made this up without a doubt.
