We stayed here for for a new nights leading up to New Years. A good bargain for the price, you get what you pay for. Rooms are basic with aircon, hot water, and a safe...that's all you really need. It's far enough away from the all the noise, so you'll get a a good night's rest. It's a 15 minute walk to Central and lots to do in Chaweng area and the island. We just needed a place to crash and this was a great alternative instead of an overpriced resort.

Cheap hotel, 2 mins from Chaweng beach, great WiFi, cheap motorbike renting, the rooms are somehow smaller than expected and quite basic but for its price is more than OK. It also has a lift which I wasn't expecting! good air conditioning, I could only complain about the breakfast consisting in only bread with jam, some cereal and some fruit, but for that price it was nice to get something. I would go back again.

One of the nicest places we've stayed on our travels. Big room with very comfy bed. Location is great and close to all the restaurants and bars. Breakfast isn't fantastic but it's free so it's certainly better than nothing! Would definitely come back here again.

You may stay at this property if you intend to stay at hostel. The rooms was too small, bathroom was dirty, unclean, lacked hygiene. The staff was not courteous, not bathing towels were provided in the room until complained. No coffee maker in the room, no hot drinking water available at late night, so all those who wish to eat their cup noodles might be disappointed. Later, I had to visit a nearby superstore and request for hot drinking water for my cup noodles. No ventilation was available in the room. If you loose the key then pay 1000 THB for the same. It can only be considered as a HOSTEL property not HOTEL.

Please avoid this hotel. When we arrived and checked in, we had a wonderful surprise to see in the reception 2 conflicts between receptionist and clients (by the way, the receptionist didn't spoke a word of English!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). They finished and I went to make the check in for 5 rooms (already paid from November) He told me that we do not have reservation.??????????? ok, I've showed him reservations confirmed and bank statement and after 10 minutes he found the reservation. We finally took the keys and went to the rooms. For floors 1,2,3 lateral rooms have a brick wall in front of the room and the moulds smell in unbearable. We had to change rooms 3 times. Last time we were told by the manager that if we do not like the smell we can live the hotel.
Pay attention, there is no difference between the rooms, they are all the same even if they presented different types of rooms.
After that our safety box - from all the rooms was blocked and we didn't have towels.
all our rooms had ants, event in the bed.
Breakfast was bread with ants, butter kept at rooms temperature (34C) and coffe and tea served in dirty cups. aaa, and some blackening smelling bananas.
We were a group of 9 peoples and one of our friends was alone. That's why one of the receptionists, flirted with him making him feel horrible.
After leaving the hotel one of our friends discovered that 800 euros were missing from his wallet. THe wallet was in the safety box all the time.

They are a shame for tourism. Someone should take them the license.

so please avoid this hotel.

The pictures looked nice and we were only staying for one night so we wanted a swimming pool. It is NOT a pool!! They shouldn't be allowed to advertise it as a pool. The male receptionist was so rude when we arrived and when I saw the "outdoor pool" behind him inside the building I asked if that was the pool as it had a water fountain on the side of it. He said yes a plunge pool!! It wouldn't fit more than one person in it it was a shamble. We were then told we had cable tv so we wanted to chill out and watch a film. No! There were four channels all of which were completely fuzzy.the room itself was nice but the receptionist was so rude it completely ruined the experience. It also says close distance to the town. It is easy a 20 minute walk. Just avoid. We had breakfast included which was just toast.

We were in this hotel from 11 03 till 15 03 2014 , the location is perfect , the infrastructure of Chaveng is nice and we could had good and calm sleep. but we disliked brakfast as it was very less and it was like wet in the room and no place to dry clothes but all these is nothing serious cause we had a real truoble there. On the 13 of March my money were stolen , some poeple stole. i had different currency and lost about 45 000 bahts. Same day my firend lost 5 000 bahts from her suitcase.Cameras were turned another direction so that could not be seen who could enter our room , when we were watching the video we noticed that some parts of video were disappeared as if some body wanted to hide marks of crime. when we went to the police station they did nothing ....Don't go here, don't visit this place as here service people steal money from suit cases , bags, kuggages and safe boxes. For sure service poeple , those who work in this hotel did this things and they are not punished.

As we were planning a big New Year's Eve it was imperative that we didn't move on New Year's Day so we could have a good rest. Upon arrival at Nantra, after waiting for 3 hours to check in, we were told "the aircon was broken" in our room so we would have to stay across the way at the Z Hotel. This would not have been an issue but they were in no way comparable rooms. Considering what we paid for was MUCH nicer than what we were forced to stay in.

As if that wasn't bad enough, we were woken up by housekeepers at the z hotel early the next morning telling us it was check out time. I then walked across the road to Nantra where they told us the room would not be ready until 2. So it was pointless us making a booking somewhere so we did not have to move. The very least the could of done if putting us in a crappy place across the road was to either organise a late check out from the other place or assure a room was available at check out time knowing they had already put us out a great deal.

As it turned out once I said after all the inconvenience we had experienced there was no way I was leaving until we had a room to go to, a room miraculously became available at Nantra where we had originally booked.

During our stay there was someone on the roof outside our window looking into our room on day. A couple times when we just came back to our room our acess card didn't work. One day while we were having a rest in bed someone opened the door to our room without announcing themselves then when they realised we were here they left straight away.

I personally do not recommend this hotel at all.
