Sorry to say but this must be the worst beach on Koh Samui, very rocky and pebbly beach. We stayed in the main resort and the other rooms and beach are across a road (which you can access via a tunnel). The infinity pools were very nice and clean. Staff mostly very nice, few grumpy ones at breakfast. Rooms large but not enough sockets. The resort is built in a hill so lots of steps to get around, however the buggy helps. The location was very quiet and had to take taxis to the main town. I would not recommend due to the poor beach and location.

The beach is not very sandy but rocky, not good for easy swimming. However this comes with the advantage that snorkelling could be very good. If you’re good at walking the beach gets really picturesque with fine sands at a partner hotel at the same bay. Right off the hotel‘s beach is a large coral reef in very low depth which could be amazing for snorkelling - unfortunately it is quite polluted and fighting for survival as many corals are destroyed, covered in fishing nets, bleached or covered with algae. The further out the more corals are still alive - but I would estimate that 80-90% of the reef‘s population is already dead. Dear hotel management, if you would recognise this valuable resource and protect, conserve and maybe nurture it, it could attract many many visitors and guests who are choosing your hotel because of this reef. This could be an unique selling point, as this part of the shore is much calmer than adjacent parts. Due to covid restrictions I cannot evaluate the quality of the buffet but it was beautiful to have the breakfast by the sea and not at the main hall where it is usually situated. The quality and size of portions at the restaurant was great but the choice was a little limited. Rooms were very clean. The gym had all equipment one could ask for.

We stayed here for 8 nights, upon arrival the staff were fantastic we had to stay in our room for one night until we received our covid results which worked well as we didn’t arrive until late we ordered room service which was wonderful cannot fault the food. We were disappointed there was no entertainment at all and had to get taxis everywhere as the beach described on the website was not a sandy beach very rocky and full of stones so we ended up going to chaweng beach most days which cost on average 200 baht each way. Staff were lovely and attentive Lester was fantastic very chatty. We stayed in a pool villa sea view which was beautiful there isn’t much to do close to the hotel so we spent a lot of money getting taxis to coco tams ( great fire show ) and fisherman’s village overall the stay was wonderful it was just a shame there was no entertainment and the beach wasn’t great otherwise we may have spent more time in the hotel

We loved our stay at Nora Buri, this resort had everything from an outstanding Breakfast and dinner to a great pool and Spa. We stayed in The pool Villa, which we enjoyed to the MAX we didn't even want to leave the room for the first days! And the staff is also so friendly and helpful, they were always ready to help you, they definitely made our stay even more enjoyable. If we are ever back in Koh Samui we undoubtedly know where we are staying! Real recommender!

It’s important to add context and manage expectations. Covid has hit Koh Samui so hard, during our stay there was 15-20% of rooms in use. Our pool villa hillside was upgraded to a pool and sea view. The property is huge, but If you can stretch to a pool villa with pool or beach view, you won’t regret it. Covid precautions are followed v well. Transfer from airport and testing is all arranged. The spa and gym are both very good and spa offered a discount that matches the local prices but with the added luxury of a hotel. Breakfast has moved from the large main eatery to the beachfront restaurant and makes for a spectacular start to the day. The rooms are huge with a great bathroom and so much space. We certainly benefited from the covid related quietness; we had the pool to ourselves for entire days at times. The service was exceptional throughout and the food really good. Thoroughly recommend, but if it gets busy again the experience might change.

We had the good fortune to stay in this hotel 5 years ago and whilst covid may have destroyed tourism in the area for now, this hotel has retained its beauty and exceptional service. Set on a hill overlooking the sea, the views are simply stunning. We had a room towards the bottom of the hill, with our own pool which was fabulous. The rooms themselves are extremely spacious and have both an indoor shower and outdoor shower. There is a large bath and the mini bar is well stocked with beers and water. Getting around isn’t a problem, as there are buggies which can take you up and down the hilly area if required. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble - they even stopped the traffic to aid us crossing the road at one point ! On our first night, we ordered room service and the quality of the food was excellent. My wife also had 2 massages and she was delighted with them. The cost was also very competitive, charging roughly the same price as that on the high street. It will go down as one of, if not the best hotel that we have ever stayed at and I really hope that we are able to return again in the future

I stayed here with my partner initially for 6/7 nights (for the Sandbox scheme) and upon arrival we had to stay in our room as per the law. This meant we had to order room service for dinner which was very reasonable, and we were given breakfast in our room until we had recieved our results which we were also delighted with. Over the 6/7 days all of the staff made us feel very welcome, from Tom, from the breakfast staff, to the restaraunt, reception and pool bar staff, so much so that we booked to return once we were back from Koh Pha Ngan. So we stayed another 4/5 days in the same room and everything again was great! The room wowed us more than in the pictures and we had no issues the whole time staying here. On the whole, would definitely reccomend spending your time here if you visit Samui.
