Our first holiday with our new 6 week old baby was always going to be a challenge, but the location and accommodation at the Loft made it seem so easy. Even when booking (last minute as we usually do!), Jill offered to purchase a baby bath for us so we didn't need to bring one with us. As we had...

Just returned from a wonderful weekend break to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. We stayed in The Loft and found the accomodation outstanding, comfortable and just a pleasure to be in. Jill and Roger were extremely helpful and down to earth, we instantly felt at ease. It is in a perfect location with a tasty take away and handy train...

Our third visit to The Courtyard - we have now stayed in all the properties. This time we took the family ( three generations) to stay in The Carriage Barn which we had seen in its 'raw state' on our first visit. The welcome from Jill and Roger was as warm as ever and we soon settled in. Well done...

The Courtyard Barn was delightful, lots of space for all the family & beautifully decorated. It was home from home with the style & luxury of a hotel but with our own living space and kitchen. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we will definitely return again.

Myself and my wife (very fussy) were at the Gold Cup Oulton Park for the monday races, after stuffing my classic F3 car under the side of a fellow racer my race was cut short. So feeling a bit stressed and the wife being a bit agitated about my poor performance, or was it just the cost of the repair,...

This is my second stay at the Courtyard and that says much in itself! The standard of service and accommodation is first class, and you get a welcoming personal service. Really nice touches are the provision of tea/coffee/juice, and the luxurious bed linen and towels - just like staying in a top hotel but on a smaller and friendlier scale,...

We stayed at the carriage barn for a short break to explore Cheshire and found the place lovely and functional. Jill and Roger have done a spectacular job at providing both a unique and practical space for families. We would highly recommend it for anyone, especially with children. It is safe for children yet beautifully done. We'll be back!

Stayed in the ‘Loft’ for 3 nights with our 1 year old son. Had a great time, Jill & Roger were really nice hosts and nothing seamed to be too much trouble. The loft was very spacious and well kitted out with every thing you could need. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon!!!!

We booked 3 nights after seeing the website and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed on arrival and the accommodation (we stayed in the Loft) was just what we wanted. Clean, modern and comfortable with plenty of information about the surrounding area. We got our own undercover parking and the train station was only a couple of minutes walk...

We had 3 weeks at The Courtyard will attending hospital in the area and living at the Courtyard was marvellous and relaxing. We had time in the 2 bedroom and the 1 bedroom and both were excellent. Jill and Roger can't be called landlady/owner or anything but friends.
