Our first time at Lanis Old Bar. Nice well grassed powered sites, amenities clean and recently refurbished. Staff friendly and welcoming. Dogs welcome with a dog friendly beach at your doorstep.
Only negative... management can you please update your dump point, it is discusting and in hygienic.

Our group of 6 adult and 6 children (6 - 14) spent Easter long weekend camping here. The campsite was clean and very well maintained. The location was perfect, right by a beautiful beach. Toilet and shower facilities were clean and in good condition, as was the camp kitchen. Washing up liquid and clean tea towels and washing cloths were provided at the camp kitchen.
There is a skateboard park just outside the camp for older kids, and a nice little park for the smaller ones. The swimming pool was clean but Lanis guests are not allowed to use it between 10am - 1pm, when it for community users. Although we didn't use it while we were there I'm not impressed with that rule.
In the camp kitchen you have to pay into an electric meter to use the microwave, toaster and kettle, and you also have to pay to use the camp bbqs, which is a negative point for me.
There is a superb fish and chip cafe nearby, Blowfish, which I would highly recommend. There is also a small collection of shops a couple of mins drive with a BI LO supermarket and liquor store among others.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at Lanis. We would certainly look to go again.

Old bar is a wonderful coastal town we fell in love with this little town unfortunately that where the positivity end!
The parks location is top notch the mid aged lady in reception has the most awful people skills and very rude attitude I have experienced in all our years of travelling, talking to others in the park everyone agreed. Daily drive by this lady in here silver car peering into sites its a very uncomfortable feeling.
Only 4 showers and toilets are opened with the others locked (in perfect working order) staff don't have to clean with only these few open you would think they would be clean but unfortunately no.
Lawns and maintenance could be a-lot better clipping blowing around constantly.
Lots of other issues.
This park has so much potential its a shame especially considering no other options in the town.
Cleaner doing cabin during our stay was very efficient and the only peoples that smiled thank you.

Chose this park as pet friendly and dogs are allowed on the beach - that was great. However the bathroom ammenities were only cleaned twice in the 9 days we stayed. Expected daily considering Covid .
The power outlet for our van burnt out our van lead other outlets looked in similar burnt out condition.
The park charges premium rates for a basic park.
Cannot recommend

Set right on the beach in the lovely village of Old Bar, we stayed for one night when travelling up North. The site was quite suitable for our van and close to the amenities. This was very handy as the weather was not good and we usually cook outside our van so used the camp kitchen instead. Very cosy with lounges, books to read and tv.

WE happened upon this park 11 years ago, when we were looking for somewhere to holiday in our camper trailer with our children. We have been coming to Lani's for all of that time, missing only one Christmas due to a family illness. However, this year we cut our visit short due to the disappointing behaviour of the park managers, Fizal and Wendy. when on holidays, you don't expect to be yelled at by the park manager, and all over the 1 or 2 centimeters our car was over the white line on the road. It the dead tree that was on the corner of the site was removed, we would have been able to easily park our car.
In all of the years we have been coming here, there has only been a cosmetic renovation done to the amenities block. On arrival, the concrete slabs were littered with needles from the overhanging trees, and they did not look like they had been cleaned of for a very long time. The grass on all sites was quite long.
The way we were treated was not acceptable. If it wasn't for the staff member, Sarah, we would have left the park even earlier than we did. As it was, we left 2 days earlier than we were booked for due to the rudeness of both of the on-site managers.

Great caravan park about 4 hours from Sydney. Staff friendly and professional. Fur baby welcome (ring first when booking with pet). Nice sites, clean facilities. Close to the beach and has their own swimming pool. Just outside the gate is a large park/picnic area and a seafood cafe who do a great seafood basket.
Will be back for sure

What a perfect spot! We’d wanted to try Lani’s for a while & finally got around to making the trip this weekend with a few friends. Reception was super friendly when we arrived, checked us in & was so welcoming to our big dog! Site was a great size, well kept and clean. Facilities are grwst - toilets and showers new & so clean. Camp kitchen huge and very well appointed with cooking/cleaning tools available. Great location right on a huge stretch of beach. Wonderful stay & we will definitely be back!

We stayed in a cabin which was a bit dated but had everything we needed. Most of the other cabins are more modern. Good value for money considering the location.
Amenities are clean and well looked after and there is an excellent camp kitchen, ideal for large gatherings.
Highly recommended for families, couples, anyone.
