What a find! An amazing quirky but beautifully appointed space!
Honestly in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney you would pay $600+ a nite!

Our host Steve was amazing and we honestly couldn’t fault our room (Bowie theme 😍) Our room was just amazing, super Comfy bed and just so well designed.

We stayed one night on a Monday so the bar/ restaurant wasn’t t open but we went to an amazing Thai in town called SAI, right next to Cole’s. The food was incredible.

What a hidden little gem.
This hotel is excellent
Lots of quirky features, record player in room, records all around the hotel that you can play.
The rooms are super large , but have a balcony that is shared
Bathroom is spacious but no door.
Steve the owner is very friendly and helpful.
Bed super comfortable and slept like a log.
Block out curtains make room nice and dark.
Beach is only 300 meters across the road.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Just off the highway, Old Bar is one of those little towns that you drive past most days. Not today for us. Stopped in and discovered a fabulously unique motel. Steve the owner was welcoming and happily showed us around and up to our room. Each room is individual and has its own musical slant. We were in the Nick Cave room, which features a huge tiled outline of him in the shower along with a record player, retro fridge and Apple TV. Lining the walls in the hallway is vinyl records you're welcome to take and play on your rooms record player.

The downstairs restaurant, Flow, serves up a mix of traditional and local dishes made from locally sourced produce. We had tapas and highly recommend the arancini balls, but to be honest, all was good. We extra for breakfast to be included and like our evening meal, it didn't disappoint. They're also the only business in the area serving a decent coffee!

The beach is literally across the road and offers a long walk either north or south with little or no one else alo g the way.

Stayed 2 nights and had a great time. We stayed in the Bowie room and it was a well decked out king sized bed room opening French doors onto a large balcony which was our convenient outdoor entry/exit door. The bed was comfy and the water in the shower and spa bath was good pressure and hot. Every room has a record player and the floor has a record room of old discs that you can borrow to play; it sure was fun reliving 70’s, and 80’s tunes.
Downstairs they have a bar and restaurant/cafe. We had our breakfasts there and one dinner, and both were great. Recommend the pizzas, but we also had the crab meat sliders and salt+pepper squid to share. The coffee is strong and excellent, and the venue seems to be very busy with travellers and locals getting their coffees and meals here.
The beach is right across the road via a very short track and it’s a huge expanse of beach with hardly anyone on it, which was an extremely pleasant experience for city people wanting silence and peace! It’s a very quiet little town so you will get really sound surroundings for sleeping, and the only noise is the nearby beach.
Finally, the staff are friendly especially our host Steven who showed us around and welcomed us. Would stay again.

If you love music, if you love something just a little different/quirky, if you love good food and good atmosphere then you can't go wrong staying here. Only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Super cool, super clean. Rooms are not huge but you have everything you need and the record player was a huge bonus.

This venue was our overnight accommodation on a 2 day tag along group. We were allocated themed rooms on our arrival on a Saturday night by a very enthusiastic and helpful staff. After checking into our rooms and freshen up we descended the stairs to the outside dinning area for drinks and dinner. The staff were quick to sort out the drinks and get them to our tables. Dinner was a mixture of tapas and main course meals, excellent! Again table service was great as the Restaurant was also open to the public and there was good flow of dinners for the night. After a great nights sleep, very quite part of town, we were all down for breakfast on the deck. Staff again on the ball. Chasing everyone in our party to provide barrister coffee whilst taking breakfast orders. Believe it or not but another great meal with great service. Would look at staying here again if in the area. Great place, great people.

Fantastic rooms, fantastic food, fantastic staff, fantastic location. We chose the Boogie Woogie Beach House for the location to spend a night with our adult children. Couldn't have chosen a better spot. We enjoyed a yummy meal and drinks on Saturday night listening to the live music (which wasn't too loud). The rooms were amazing, such fun! The next morning we gobbled up a great breakie before saying our goodbyes.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay here would definitely recommend, it’s quite a unique hotel with themed bedrooms, comfy bed and spacious bathroom with everything you need. The team are super helpful/friendly and gave us plenty of advice about where to eat the first night that their downstairs restaurant was closed and the best surf breaks In the area. Only thing I’d say was wish they were open for food more as it was delicious and we would have had every meal here! Also that we could have stayed for longer because they have live music on weekends. We will try and get back here again soon!

We randomly chose this place for the unique name and the musical side of the description. We loved the names of the rooms - we had the Louis Armstrong room. The bathroom was huge. Also we loved the turntable provided and enjoyed listening to music we hadn't heard for many years- we even remembered most of the words of every song!

As the restaurant wasn't open for dinner, Steve suggested we try Luriya's Thai restaurant down the road. The food was very good and we loved every mouthful, haha. Thank you Steve for the recommendation.
Breakfast in their restaurant was perfect and tasty.

We're already planning to return and enjoy the live music over a weekend.

Wonderfully styled rooms, comfortable bed, had such a great time. Stayed overnight here and had a sensational time. Had dinner and drinks downstairs on a Saturday night with an intimate stage and Mitch from Coffs brought such great vibes. This place is still being refurbished in places but is a total hidden gem.
