This hotel is incredible. In a beautiful fairy-tale style chateau overlooking beautiful countryside, a very affordable 3-star hotel of the kind that I usually can only envy others who can stay there. The rooms are beautiful, each one different, as you can see from their site. Book directly from their site! Our room looked exactly as shown on the site, and we peeked into other rooms that also looked really nice. The room was not only beautifully furnished in knightly style but also big and comfortable, including the bathroom. Staff was nice, but don't expect to find any information there on hiking in the Gorge du Verdon. The hotel has an amazing terrace on the roof of the chateau, where you can eat breakfast (and dinner) or just sit and enjoy the view. The breakfast was pricey but good. We went into the village (a really nice and short walk) for dinner. "Le Piccolo" - the restaurant-bar in the main square (seems to be the only restaurant in the village) - is excellent. Dinner at the chateau looked very expensive, we didn't try. This is a hotel you will not forget! Highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights at this classy chateau and I cannot say enough positive things about it! . First the views are stunning. Every morning you take your breakfast on the beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains and valleys. Not only is breakfast delicious and fresh, but the service provided by Bastien brings a smile to your face every morning.. He is so professional that he asked once what I like for breakfast and he remembered every single day! That’s customer service for you! The spacious rooms capture the style of the castle and are just lovely. The room was impeccably clean and the bathroom had all the amenities you need. The staff is dynamic, smart, efficient, courteous and genuinely enjoying working there. In fact we really liked the very pleasant “vibe” of customer service we received. Kudos to Hortense, obviously a master manager, Anaëlle who was so helpful when we needed help with our little dog, Bastien for his wonderful breakfast service. It is easy to get to hiking trails, lakes and gorgeous villages from the chateau. It is a gem and our short stay there was nothing short of unforgettable!

We politely asked to drink something at their wine-bar , but we had to wait 10 minutes before we got an answer. Staff was rude and arrogant, in the end we didn’t even get an answer... as they kept ignoring us so we just left. Would not recommend!.
