The Hotel Grohmann was the base for our first family ski-ing holiday. Our party consisted of one seasoned skier and two novices. The Grohmann fits the alpine mode of having functional rooms with minimal additional features. Our room was tight for three, but as other reviewers have indicated it is perfectly fine as a base for ski-ing. It was a...

All previous observations about this hotel, both positive and negative, on this site, are valid but really it's a ski hotel doing deals and it's fine for that purpose if you manage your stay! Due to a misunderstanding we were moved into a room in the front from our actual booked back room when we arrived, Having read the reviews...

Excellent location - walk in skiboots to the cable car. Very helpful service - both Suzanna at the Reception:) but also the waiting staff. We were difficult guests because of strict diets but they were very very helpful to make us happy. Internet is a bit of an issueas you have to buy either 2 hr slot or 10 hr...

Two of us stayed at the Grohmann for 4 nights in February. It was pleasant enough without being spectacular. The location was a good compromise, being on the main road, 2-3 minutes walk into town, and 5-6 minutes walk to the cable car. There was plenty of parking to the front and rear of the hotel. We didn't use the...

The staff was very friendly to me (Suzanna at reception is an angel) ! The hotel has a great location, as we were able to reach the Gondola within a two minute walk, and Campitello is a cute village. Well priced and recommended.

We spent two weeks in the Grohmann from February 20 to March 5 on a snowboarding holiday. We've been in Campitello before and we preferred our stay here. The hotel is warm, the rooms very clean (a complete change of all the towels every day), and very importantly the showers are hot. Our room had a good-sized balcony, so if...

Just spent a week at Grohmann Hotel in Campitello on the plus side: location is good for Sella Ronda skiing as wherever you stop in the dolomites if you want to be in a town or village you need to have access to a lift to the slopes, if you get to the local lift (5 mins walk) by 8.30...

I will start by saying that I liked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place has a nice feel about it. It is very well situated, just a couple of hundred yards or so from the cable car up to the skiing area and it is an excellent base for a skiing holiday (and presumably...

Just an aside. We travelled on a Crystal package. It took us three hours to get here owing to numerous prior drop-offs. And the bus continued on to Canazei afterwards with the remaining pasengers. A nice friendly welcome. Reception asked for our passports (they were returned the next day). Why do they do this, I wonder? Anyway. The staff who...
