We had a great time at Tal-Y-Bont thanks to hosts Ann, Dennis and their beautiful lab, Albert. We spent two nights with them and wish it could have been more. Dennis helped us with OS maps and guidebooks for trekking in Snowdonia; he was a great source of information. The room was comfortable and well appointed, as was the rest...

Our annual visit to tal-y-bont was rewarding as ever. The weather was not great, but we had the warmest of welcomes from Anne, Dennis and Albert the lovely black lab. The weather could not dampen the walking, kick started by a hearty locally sourced breakfast, lovingly cooked by Anne. We have already booked for next year with some friends to...

Just returning from a lovely stay at the Tal-Y-Bont what a wonderful place. Dennis and Anne were the perfect hosts, thank you again Anne for washing our walking stuff after it got muddy. The B&B is situated in the heart of Snowdonia in the most beautiful countryside with good walking all around the area. Though we where there for a...

We've just returned from a fantastic couple of nights staying with Dennis and Anne. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. We travelled with our 1yr old daughter and everything was provided for, travel cot, high chair, even an extra jug of full fat milk. We couldn't wait to get up in the morning for...

We stayed at this gorgeous bed and breakfast so that we could explore the local area. Anne and Dennis made us feel extremely welcome and really nothing was too much trouble. Even to be greeted on the front door step with an umbrella on a particular wet evening after a day out! Our breakfasts were extremely appealing to those whose...

Booked for 2 nights and on arrival a delicious cream tea awaited us - mouth watering warm scones. Ann, Dennis & Albert were lovely hosts. The views were amazing. Visited Mount Snowdon on a beautiful sunny day - we were very lucky with the weather. Recommend booking the train tickets online as it gets very busy, and when we arrived...

Fabulous attention to detail, very clean, lovely rooms (we had the family room), great breakfast, according to my 9yr old the best bacon sandwich in the world! After searching for some time to find a suitable B&B in North Wales for a short stay we found Tal-Y-Bont Country House, and our only regret was that we hadn't booked to stay longer. The house is set in beautiful countryside, is very peaceful and quiet, though only a few miles from the seaside and within reasonable driving distance of...

This lovely comfortable B & B in North Wales is nestled in lush farmland with rushing rivers. The hosts Anne and Dennis are extremely hospitable and lavish huge nutritious breakfasts on guests to prepare them for a day of hiking or visiting the many local historic and natural beauty spots. They are happy to lend their dog Albert to show...

We stayed at Tal Y Bont for our honeymoon weekend. Anne and Dennis (and albert) put every effort in to make our weekend unforgettable and really made us feel at home and part of the family. They provided us with a great breakfast and great advise on where and how to visit the region off the unbeaten track including the...
