Positive Side -Great dinner with great services. Despite the chef and the servant did not speak English, they managed to present their profession and sincerity through the whole dining process. -The gentleman at the bar is beyond excellent! Noticed my niece did not drink alcohol, he initiatively make another non-alcohol drink for her after she finished her first glass of...

We stayed 1 night in the western style room and opt for the teppanyaki dinner. Reception was good - they will help you unload, check in in front of the gd view of lavender field and serve you sweets and drinks. Such is the service of an excellent ryokan/ hotel in Japan The dinner was one of the best we...

We stayed here one night. The grounds were gorgeous, it was peaceful and the hotel was beautiful. In particular, the reception and restaurant had fantastic views. Also the hotel specialises in onsen and there were separate ones for men and women. But be forewarned, we stayed in a traditional Japanese room (they ran out of western style ones) and there...

hv stayed in this onsen hotel group in Shikotsu-ko, Hokkaido. However, 1st stay in this new hotel. It has less than 30 rooms all facing its huge garden, with 5000 lavender blooming in July. Only French dinner is served, with veges grown from its garden of 750 hectares. Both meals were elegant with nice vege. Room was spacious with twin...

If you want a relaxing time, you will get it here. Delicious food - actually it's fine dining standard and a complimentary bar service is provided. The staff are friendly and super polite but their English standard could be improved. There were a few negatives for us. We were offered a fairly cool welcome to a sterile lobby - a...

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, it was the highlight of our stay in Hokkaido! We were welcomed with drinks and snacks upon arrival and were promptly shown around our room with balcony. Very generous sized room for Japan. Excellent onsen facilities, shame there was no outside pool but not a big deal. All the staff did their utmost...

Rooms are all twin beds but spacious. Nice view of their own lavender fields but must go before Aug. complementary drinks at the bar (we didn't try) while the food at the restaurant was one of the best in Hokkaido. They grow their own veggie. We rented a road bike in town and did a 60km scenic ride which is...

I recently stayed a night with my family. We arrived @ 3pm sharp, and was greeted by a staff that nicely took our luggage, and placed us on a waiting area. They served us tea, and some snacks while waiting to be checked in, and to retrieve our requested dinner / breakfast time. Then the staff took us to our...

We spent 2 nights here recently during our flower tour of Hokkaido. The hotel was perfect in every way apart from the fact that we could not find a suitable piece of furniture to place our 2 pieces of large luggage. In addition, we struggled to take our shower in the bath tub as we are no connoisseurs of spas....
