Pros -
1) Convenient location close to many good eateries (Kumagera, Masaya, Sennari etc), a drugmart and a supermarket.
2) Free parking (30 lots).
3) Our room (777 - where they previously filmed a Korean drama) was spacious, clean and had a great view of the surrounding mountains.
4) Service was great even though English is a tad limited.

Cons -
1) TV channels are predominantly in Japanese save for BBC and 1 Chinese channel.

This is a great hotel worthy of the accolades it attracts. Friendly helpful staff; good breakfast; well located; organised, comfortable and efficient.
Our double room was a tad small but well laid-out so we managed OK.
Our only gripe was that there were limited shuttle buses to the 2 ski fields - especially the New Prince Hotel area, which is arguably the best, the first and only morning shuttle being at 11.15 am. The Hotel was happy to order a taxi but interestingly, this 10 minute trip would amount to about 2,500 yen - whereas other comparable trips would cost half that. Go figure!

We reached this hotel in the evening. The hotel staff was very friendly and instruction was clear. It was a hassle free check in. We were also given a list of restaurants in this town and this list categorised the types of foods we can look up for, such as Pizza, sushi, udon, etc., and in each category a ranking of few restaurants. This was very helpful. There is a small spa for us to use and we used that in the night. The room was clean but a little small. Overall we had a good night stay. In the morning we looked out the window, we saw the roof and street was covered with heavy snow. Nice scenery and experience.

This hotel is relatively inexpensive in Furano, simple but clean and comfortable. The public bath (not sure if it is a hot spring) is also simple but a nice touch. Free breakfast is a set meal either in Japanese or Western style. Good number of eating places within walking distance but you better check the opening hours before going.

Good location across from the train station. Free parking if you drive. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean but small. Several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Western style breakfast is worth it. Will return in July for the lavender festival.

Great stay. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The rooms are Japanese small, but adequate and very clean. Best breakfast for both Japanese and Western.

Nice private onsen to ease the sore muscles after a day of skiing.

Transport easy and close. Big tick!

We stayed 2 nights here based on recommendations from Singapore based bloggers. Certainly we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff that speaks good English, something rare in a little town in Furano.
I will leave it to the other reviewers to review on the room and amenities. I'll just say that we truly enjoyed our stay and loved the little relax spa on the ground floor where we took our daily baths there.
What I want to commend this hotel is that the help that the staff there extended to us. Unfortunately we met with some mishap with our rented car, the kind staff there helped us call our rental company which has extremely poor English support. She was very patient and detailed, taking down details and asking the correct questions for us. It took multiple calls to for her but everything was done quickly with a smile. Special thanks to Ms Su and all the staff in Furano Natulux Hotel.

The hotel is located about 1 minute walk from Furano train station. It offers free wifi in room and also public hot spring bath. The wifi somehow didn't work in our room but the guy at reception tried very hard to help, so we really appreciate it. The room is quite small but very clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The breakfast was good as you have options to choose between Japanese or western style breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel because it's the best in Furano!

Please see my photos for more details. Tips: If you are walking into Furano town, make sure you get to try Japanese curry at Yuiga Doxon. We followed the smell of curry to this place and found that it's very popular even among locals. Try to get there a bit early because the queue can be very long as we ended up eating there twice! If you love Japanese curry, you must try it. We both agreed that it's the best curry we ever had! love it! love it! Please vote for me if you find this review helpful, thank you very much guys:)

Natulux is an unexpected gem that deserves its current #1 rank! Modern, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast, onsen, wifi, what else would one need for an enjoyable stay? I would not think twice about recommending this hotel.

That really depends on which ski slope you are going to. There's a pretty good one just a few kilometres from here, so about 10 minutes' drive, if you have a rented car. (I'm not a skier though, so don't ask me how good the ski slope is! But I heard it is quite popular)
Answer from MikeChow

There are shutter buses from the train station to the ski resorts in Furano Prince and New Furano Prince hotel with fixed schedule. You can get the coupons from the front desk so they are free. However do note that the first bus and around 11am and the last bus around 6pm. If you need to hit the slope earlier, you can book a taxi at the front desk. They provide discount vouchers so the fare is quite affordable. Travel time from hotel to ski resorts is about 15 mins.
