These apartments were just perfect for our stay/visit to Tenerife, it had everything needed for self catering, the room was large enough with plenty of space, the balcony was just ok with a table/2 chairs BUT with the added bonus of a roof terrace. Arena suites is on three floors (with a lift) The ground floor (1st) have a large terrace, with the 2nd floor having a slightly bigger one than the third floor BUT as mentioned earlier with the third floor you get a roof terrace with two loungers (but no shade/brolly!).
About the rooms, these are well equipped with all things needed for your comfort, the shower/bathroom was decent with regular towel/toilet paper replenishment, the only tiny little issue was the shower with curtain that *clung* to your body as you tried to was BUT that was the only tiny gripe that i had.
The staff were all very helpful, with nothing being any trouble at all for them to assist with our stay.
There is a very good/regular bus service 100mt from the front of the property and a small *Black Sand* beach just 300 mts away (to the left as you walk out of the side rd), this beach had a life guard on duty and the bonus of toilets/shops for your convenience. The sun beds/brollys were charged at 5 Euro's for the day (you could leave them whilst going for lunch).

hope this info is helpful.

Arrived here on Xmas Eve, check-in was smooth, 2 guys on reception polite and helpful. Reserved a room with a roof terrace which was great. The sun at this time of year around the pool only got the top end ... around 8 sunbeds. Room spacious (room A301) 3rd floor, they do have a lift. Maid (Rubi) came every day, clean towels, bed made, room was clean, it did have a kettle despite on the website saying you had to hire one. Bathroom was spacious, shower was quite small with a curtain (not a fan of these but it was clean) toilet roll wasn't in shortage like some apartments are! Kitchen had everything you needed, fridge was clean, washing up liquid,
scouring pad and tea towel was supplied. Living area had a small tv, didn't watch it as was out majority of the time. Had a faux leather bed setee, balcony was a decent size with 2 chairs and a table and as an extra bonus, we had a roof terrace. No washing line or maiden supplied. Jose who works behind the bar was friendly, nice guy. Bed wasn't that
comfortable, but did manage to get some sleep. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and we would return. The apartments is situated on a quite side street. Playa de la Arena and the beach was a 5 minute walk.

On arriving there we were extremely well-received with some food as our plane took off very late and when we got there all restaurants were closed. The apartment was very roomy: 2 rooms with large comfy mattresses and wardrobes with plenty of space, 2 bathrooms, well- equipped kitchen (cutlery, crockery, oven, microwave, coffee maker…), a lounge and a patio which direct communication with the swimming-pool (very useful if you have children).
The staff were all very kind with a good willingness to help whatever the issue we could have. The towels were replaced every day, rooms very clean. We’ve really enjoyed the peaceful and quietness you can get there (I guess the apartments were emptier as usual due to Covid19).
The locations was great, in Santiago port, with Los Gigantes cliffs only 10 minutes by car, Arenas’ beach a 5 minutes walk and shopping centers (Siam Mall) 20 minutes by car.
The only little issue was the shower with curtains, although they were replacing them by shower enclosures by the time we stayed there.
In short, a quiet place with a good service. I strongly recommend it.

Stayed here for New Years and it was amazing. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious, everything you’d need was already included (apart from air con which may have been an issue in the summer). The staff were extremely helpful and I don’t understand any of the complaints, especially about the cold pool- the owners of the apartments are in no way to blame as they can’t control the winter weather!

This hotel is in a great location only 2 minutes from the promenade. We were given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom ,2 bathroom apartment which was useful as there were 3 of us.We were in room A215 which had full sun ALL afternoon (good thing or bad thing). It was 28 deg most days and the pool area of the hotel does not have much breeze so it gets hot.Towels were changed every day and rooms were reasonably clean.Kitchen was very poorly equipped. There was cutlery and crockery for 4 people. There was a kettle but no toaster,a hob and oven but there were only 3 saucepans and that was all that was provided. When we went there was one bedroom with no light working and3 other lights that did not work.We reported the lights to a lady in reception but nothing was done so we reported them again to a man with a moustache who had it sorted within a few hours. The new lights were fairly bright but the older lights in the apartment were so dim you could not even read with them.If you want to watch English TV then you would be disappointed as there are only Spanish channels if you can fathom out how to get the tv to work. The patio doors onto the balcony do not lock and are not even designed to lock. The kitchen window would not lock either. There were 2 bathrooms but nowhere to put anything - no shelves or hooks to hang the towels on.The showers were very small and had plastic shower curtains which were a menace when trying to shower. This is supposed to be a 3 star hotel but we have stayed in much better 2 star hotels than this.I would not stay here again. We didnt hate the place but we were disappointed in the equipment provided.

We are here now. With jet2.
Everything was great until 08:10 on Wednesday morning. The noise is horrendous and constant. Jet2 do not care. Have been offered £10 per day compensation.
We can’t use the balcony, pool or any amenities My 7 year old has issues with ears and airways. I will post videos. We worked hard for this and I emphasise, jet2 have treated us in a disgusting manner!

Staff at hotel are amazing.

Jet2 You should be bloody ashamed!!!!

The Arena Suite Apartments are basic but very comfortable. The apartment is cleaned daily with fresh towels which I have never experienced in any hotel or apartments before. The kitchen has everything you need and for the extra money an apartment with roof top terrace is a must for sun worshippers. The only negative about the apartment is as mentioned by other reviewers in that the shower with its flimsy curtain does tend to flood the bathroom floor and even if you manage to keep the curtain within the tray you are left with a space about 3ft x 2ft to shower with the curtain clinging to you, they really must invest in shower cubicles which would then make these apartments excellent. The area itself is quiet, not much goes on after 11pm. there are some good restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. Now for the bad news and the main reason for this review. As we sit here in the apartment during the Christmas 2018 break there are currently two major building works in the vicinity. One is a road improvement to Calle Jose Gonzalez just 50m from the apartments. Here they are using JCB's and pneumatic drills most of the day. The second project is right next to the apartments where they seem to be reinforcing a wall in the hillside. Here they are using large JCB mounted pneumatic drills. If like me you receive an email from Jet 2 before you leave for your holiday informing you of this work but stating there is not a noise issue it is a lie. The noise from both sites (But particularly from the wall reinforcement) is very loud and intrusive and goes from 8am to 4pm. If you are already booked into these apartments for the near future I would check with your tour operator if a move is possible. It is not known by anyone at the apartments how long these works are scheduled for but if you are considering these apartments some time in 2019 I would check if these works are still ongoing

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised our apartment was ready late morning. Lady on desk was very nice and friendly, she gave us the key to our apartment so up we went, only to find a couple in bed when we opened the door. So we went back to the desk and she apologised and gave us another apartment, very sparsely furnished overlooking the pool. But we were only there for 5 day to attend a christening, so let it go. We went to cook food and the minute we put the oven on it tripped all the electrics, lady came up from the desk and checked the fuse box and told us the full wing had an electrical problem and this always happened, I said surely this was dangerous to which she told me no. My husbands an electrician to trade and was not happy about being there, we phoned our travel company, who basically said to change apartments or book into somewhere else, but we would have to pay and try and claim back. So we eventually got moved to one of the apartment on the front which was lovely, but we didn't try cooking again and to be fair there wasn't enough equipment to make a meal with anyway. I left my iPad charger in the apartment when we moved, so when I realise I was missing I asked only to be told it wasn't there, these are not cheap to replace. So we won't be returning.

We arrived at the complex and we where greeted by a lovely gentleman who showed us to our apartment 202a with a balcony over looking the sea ,

The apartment was lovely and spacious with a king size very comfortable bed ,the apartment was spotless and serviced and cleaned every day by the very pleasant staff. the ladies at the reception where very pleasant and helpful

Free wifi was available at the reception .The pool was of good size and the bar was at hand if you wanted a drink. The beach was only a five minuets walk away as was the Dino supermarket and Lidls witch was very reasonable .

We asked Albert the hotel manager for a late check out and nothing was a bother . The only thing was I wish we had booked for ten days instead of seven . We will definitely be back brill holiday . Paul Cassidy

Hi. a 2 minute walk from Arena Suites you have an Indian, Italian, Chinese then round corner you have two Spanish Bars one does lovely steaks and a well stocked supermarket just up the hill If you walk in other direction you will find a bigger choice of restaurants the best one we found was Blue Martini lots of fresh seafood restaurants just not my choice of food you also have a larger supermarket here both the same name Hyperdino. Not sure about bike hire I would google cycle hire Playa Arena. I noticed in June there was a place just before Blue Martini that did quad bikes, scooters and car hire they may also do cycle hire . We are back for the third time this year on 8th September for 2 weeks. Good place to relax Lots to do if you ask around you can get to Los Gigantes by taxi about 4 euros or you could walk if you are not afraid of hills some really nice restaurants in Los Gigantes. Have a lovely holiday Alberto and his staff at Arena are all so nice and nothing is a problem.
