This is an absolute holiday destination. You step out of your door and onto the lawn which leads to the beach. Very gracious old house with wonderful antiques. We had a lovely room with crisp white linen and the furniture was stunning. A huge old armoir which just cannot be bought. I cannot believe how a previous reviewer could not...

After staying in 3 other hotels/B&B in South Africa in the same price range, the Rockhaven had the best views but the worst interior (room): the furniture was worn out and, old fashioned and did not match together. It was just several pieces of furniture put together without any aestethic feeling. They have probably used the better furniture in other...

We booked this guest house for the first two nights in Cape Town because of a recommendation. We liked it so much that we returned there at the end of our journey for 3 more days. Most of the rooms have direct access to the beach. We could enjoy the view to Table Mountain from our bed. Warm welcome, very...

We were booked to this guest house as part of my family's wedding party based in Bloubergstrand. This little guesthouse exceeded our expectations. It had more of a family / house feel to it. Our room had direct access from the main back patio which afforded beautful views over the beach which was just 50 metres away. We also had...

We spent a whole week in Rockhaven and we enjoyed every single minute! We had the warmest welcome ever as got lost on our way there and Lillian (the owner) that we called said so uncomplicated: Stay there with your car and I will come and pick you up! Which she did. We drove safely behind her to her guesthouse...

My husband and I had looked forward to a 2 night stay in this establishment for a long time. We know the area well, having visited Bloubergstrand many times over the years but never having stayed. We had expected the best, at the price we were paying, having booked the "best room"in the house, the one overlooking the Mountain, ......though...

Leave your room, walk a few yards and gaze at that view you have seen in many, many photographs - Table Mountain. This guesthouse is small and friendly, is in the most wonderful location about 30 to 60 minutes' drive from Capetown airport, right on the beach. Rockhaven is owned by a mother and daughter who are all you could...
