We stayed in the zebra room for the first three nights of our honeymoon. This was the best decision ever 😊! The lovely room(s!), the private veranda, and... (most importantly), the private jacuzzi! Perfect for the cold Sabie winter nights. We really felt like royalty 😉. In general, the whole B&B is really charming, and the service was perfect. Thank...

On arrival we received a warm, genuine and friendly welcome by Sandie. We stayed in the Zebra room, it was nice and the bed comfortable however it was cold at night, there was a small electric radiator but it produced limited amount of heat. In comparison to other B&Bs we stayed in during our trip we thought this was overpriced...

Thank you very much for your valued feedback. We appreciate the constructive comments. Unfortunately Sabie in Winter can get pretty cold and we have provided an electric blanket on the king size bed in Zebra for just such nights. Your point is taken that the wall mounted heater does not work very effectively on extreme cold nights and we will...

The Townhouse is well situated in Sabie with easy access to the Panorama Route, local restaurants and shops. We stayed two nights in a very comfortable double ensuite. Breakfast was one of the best and Greg was a great host with lots of local information. Very happy with our stay and the accommodation.

Very convenient large guest house in Sabie Town, Spotlessly clean, great breakfasts and the perfect spot for cruising round the waterfalls and the panoramic route. Sabie reminds me of a wild west town only safer. Good restaurants and quaint shops that remind me of my childhood in the 1950's!. Anyone that's read Jock of the Bushveld, this is a must...

We were walk ins and were very welcomed. Stayed in the bigger unit and the place was clean and tidy. There is a pool, honesty bar and friendly staff all round. No tv, but we didnt want one. Plenty of stuff to do in the little town. Great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the end of out trip at The Sabie Townhouse. A very warm welcome, British style rooms with a very good shower and facilities. The location is ideal as you are in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall an excellent stay

What excellent service and clean rooms. We were welcomed so warmly, and anything we required was dealt with immediately. We will be going back over and over again. A real gem in a great garden setting.

We've had a great stay at Sabie Townhouse. We stayed in the Lion suite which is great for families as it's slightly removed from the other rooms whilst still attached to the main building. Facilities are great and well maintained and very peaceful, with a real African feel to it. Greg and his family are friendly and very accommodating. Kids...

We stayed at Sabie Townhouse for two nights, we found Greg to be pleasant and helpful, particularly in lending us an electrical adaptor. The public rooms were spacious and in good order however we stayed in the rhino room which was in definite need of an upgrade, all the decor and tiling appeared to be from the 1970s' so hopefully...

Thank you very much for your feedback. Whilst we concede that the bathroom in Rhino suite is all original tiling and fittings with pale pink tiles and new stone flooring recently laid (it used to have horrible carpeting), it has been decorated in a lovely French colonial style and is very clean and fully functional. The room itself was also...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Greg and Family offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
