This is a great place to stay, we were there March 2017. The staff are very friendly and you are well looked after. The food is good and wholesome but the choice is limited as they serve set menu. They have their own safari drive and is well worth doing, lots of animals to see and the ride over the...

My girlfriends an I had a 2 night stay here the past weekend. First of all we were absolutely amazed by how stunning this place is. As Namibians, this lodge reminded us of how beautiful our country really is. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, we felt right at home and we were quite sad to leave. The experience...

We stayed here for one night. Very few guests as it was low season. Lovely situation by a waterhole and a sparkling, clean pool. Large rooms with air con. And private, furnished outdoor space. Very helpful staff and traditional buildings. Public rooms were of traditional design with high ceilings and thatched roof. Very quiet situation.

Pleasant staff and lovely setting and rooms. The food was good but the portions were small. Wildlife around the place, but the pool was a shocker and looked like half of the wildlife had peed in it or had midnight baths. Air con worked which was a big plus! Any activities advertised were not offered.

Although none of the big fives in the park, we really enjoyed being here, treated by a friendly staff, a well looked after camp. Sitting on the terrace, watching the animals at the waterhole makes you forget all daily struggles at home.

This lodge is situated on the Intu Afrika Kalahari Private Game Reserve. The "chalets " set out in the grounds of the lodge and are basic but clean. Don't be surprised if there is early morning activity around your chalet - there was some "animal interaction" around my chalet at dawn!! There is a good game drive in the private...

We had a one night stay at the Zebra Lodge as part of a Namibia tour. This is a small lodge with a personal feel. The rooms are very nice little individual split level lodges, clean, well appointed and each with an uninterrupted view out into the desert. Dinner at the main lodge was a set menu, all very tasty....

Zebra Lodge Show me the money! The Lodge is nice. The staff tries to please and is pleasant. And that is extent of the nice things about this lodge. And why can they not feed decent meals to a vegetarian? The non-veg menu e.g. boasts Oryx steak with veggies and basmati rice. Great. And for vegetarian - remove the steak...

A very small lodge with cozy and small bungalows. The bungalows itself are clean even though quite small but very cozy. The location of it is quite nice as you are surrounded by the Kalahari which means Oryx are passing by your bungalows. We went for a game tour with a sundowner which was ok but to us a bit...

There are 3 lodges in this private reserve and I stayed at Intu Africa. Looks more basic than the main lodge, Zebra lodge. But that said, our tented lodge was charming, very comfortable and great service. The safari is probably not the best in namibia but this is a break as we head further down south. Highly recommended as a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Zebra Kalahari Lodge situated only 250km from Windhoek or 60km from Mariental is one of three lodges on the Intu Afrika Private Game Reserve. The lodge has 8 comfortable and spacious rooms boarding the main building with restaurant and lounge. All rooms have a large inside and outside shower in the en-suite bathrooms with double washbasins and separate toilet. The rooms overlook the modern infinity pool and the waterhole that extracts many animals at any given time of the day. Next to these standard rooms the lodge also offers five dunes suites or deluxe rooms, they are set more private away from the main building of the lodge with a large patio and lounge. The biggest reason to choose Zebra Lodge as your favorite place to stay in the Kalahari must be the Intu Afrika Game Reserve and the large variety of activities it has on offer. Discover the Kalahari by foot during a Bushmen Walk and learn all you about the secrets of the desert, or take a Game Drive in a 4x4 open vehicle that will take you to all around the 9000ha of private reserve and in to the Lion camp where you can see our two Kalahari Lions! For the more adventurous guests we also have guided quadbike tours that take you over the dunes and close up to the animals. For the perfect sundowner, climb a dune and enjoy how the shades of the Kalahari sand change as the sun sets over the horizon. ... more   less
