We were at Chade Camp in September 2018 and we are really thrilled with the service and the knowledge of their guides. We had the most wonderful safari. We can highly recommend this camp for an enjoyable stay. Best Regards Karin & Nick

This is a very remote national park and worth doing. The park is huge and so refreshingly different to the north - you will rarely come across another set of tourists in a jeep! The site is amazing - on the edge of a giant...More

This was our last stop in a 9 day Tanzania holiday. Flying in,we observed large expanses of water which were caused by the recent deluges in the rest of the country, and our camp staff told us they had never observed water levels this high...More

The good: The tents were very comfortable. During each afternoon break we sat and watched giraffe, monitor lizards, vervet monkeys, topee, impala, and countless birds from our tent deck. One of my favorite things to do in Africa. The staff tried very hard and did...More

About
Description
20 years ago, when Roland Purcell first landed his plane in Katavi there wasn't a camp in site. It was no accident that he chose to pitch his camp overlooking the game-rich floodplain of Chada.Today, Chada Katavi More retains the pioneering spirit on which it was founded. Perfectly placed to explore Katavi's fragile seasonal rivers, open plains and woodland, the focus here is on wildlife and the action is rarely far from camp. And yet few who visit us fail to remark on the charm and intimacy of this little camp. With only six beautifully furnished tents, it's understated...but effortlessly sophisticated. Less
