Lovely room with excellent sea views Newly refurbished but unpleasant smell from en-suite. This spoilt the general enjoyment .Very convenient for Grand Pavilion and good car parking facilities.Breakfast was average.

Room 308 sea view is a massive room well laid out clean and tidy but like all old hotels if you look you can find fault. The food is good and plentiful the staff helpful and this is only Tuesday of a 4 night stay. Entertainment too early to comment but the lighting for the stage to see the artist...

We stayed here as part of a coach party (as did most of the guests) Check in was good and reception staff were polite and helpful. Our room was on the first floor. Having not paid extra for a Seaview it came as no surprise that we would be overlooking the carpark and bins and the kitchen roof and above...

Dear Beverley L I was sorry to see that some aspects of your stay didn’t live up to expectations. There are two bars in the hotel, the Smugglers Bar and the Ogmore Suite. It is not always viable to have both bars open and during your stay the Smugglers bar was closed during the entertainment. The bar in the Ogmore...

Set in a very good location, easy access to town, bars and restaurants. Looks to have had some recent refurbishment, rooms are quite nice. Hotel does take lots of coach parties, so expect to be surrounded by some elderly people, not that that bothered us as we are no spring chickens ourselves. Very disappointed that we were unable to check...

As I walked through the lobby of this dated hotel I was greeted by a staff member who had less personality than a brick wall. When I eventually found my room I was less than impressed by the stench of damp decor. I'd rather spend my night in a morgue than another night in that hell hole.

To start with the hotel smells of damp that the owners have attempted to mask with cheap air freshener, the combination of which is enough to make anyone gag. The staff have a very serious attitude problem as any request is met with a look of contempt. We tried to order some toast for breakfast as we had to leave...
