My wife and I stayed here 1 night on our bus ride from Yellowknife. With advance notice, they were waiting on our arrival at 10:30pm. After quick check in, we went to our nicely heated rear room. Although somewhat aged, it had everything we needed, coffee maker, flat screen, outfitted bathroom, and a quiet night's sleep. We even saw a...

From the outside this place doesn't look like somewhere I would want to stay. However the room was clean and well cared for (although small for the price) and there was a very nice continental breakfast. The owner manages the breakfast himself; he is friendly and attentive and made us feel very much at home. A good experience overall! The...

The people at the North Country Inn are very friendly and helpful. The accommodastion is dated and in the process of being upgraded. The room is small and recently painted. The AC unit is in the window and could be considered vintage, however after the Lady pushed a few buttons, it sprung into action, and cooled the place. Hey, think of...

Friendly staff, came without reservations, no problem. Clean room and slept fine. Just spent the night, and the prices were decent. No complaints, would stay here again. Parked car right in front of my door, everything was just fine.

Recent stay in early January was okay. The room was clean enough, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast selection is good and well placed. The place is well loved and could use some tlc. Because it's older it's loud from other hotel guests. It's a place to sleep when needed.

HOTEL The website says this is an Authentic Northern Hotel. I do not know what that means. I can attest to the following: This hotel offers A bathroom with higher end soap & shampoo and a jet stream tub A clean room with table & chair with a light near the bed. There is a phone near the bed. There...

I called for a price and to reserve a room. The boy I spoke with said they have a Queen room for 149 taxes inc. when I arrived late in the evening there was no reservation for me and no Queen room available, the guy. To the counter said there was a double room for 160 plus taxes , and...

Let me start by saying that the hotel is clean and comfortable, with pleasant and helpful staff, and I would stay here again. However... They allow pets. I didn't really think much about this when I saw a funny sign about it in the lobby, but when I tried to take a nap one afternoon, a dog in the room...

The rooms were nice and clean. I had a kitchenette and everything seemed very clean. The only weird thing was having to borrow pots and pans from the lobby, I'm assuming they have had theft in the past. The rooms have cable, wifi, fridge, stovetop, microwave, couch and a dining area. The prices are higher here as they are everywhere...

Checkin was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, a fobia for my bride, with all the hot water one could want. My only gripe was that the one bed was a double so my feet were kinda hanging off the end. We needed help for work a few days later and the owner went out of his way to...
