I have stayed with friends for three nights. The crew is very friendly and has fluent English. Brekfast is hefty and good with local products. Crew is friendly and assist in restaurants and sites, Rooms are on the small size but good and vry clean. The location is superb as it is in the middle of a large estate

I spent two nights at this hotel, which has a good location and is set in some beautiful gardens. The positive things about this hotel were the very friendly and helpful staff, the great continental breakfast, the good value bar and the setting of the hotel. We slept well in our room, which was clean and well maintained. The only...

Beautiful hotel. But our stay was ruined when we had 300 euros stolen from our bedroom. The hotel refused to take any responsibility - they said they felt bad, but didn't offer to reimburse any of the money or even make a token gesture. Nothing. They said they would have an "investigation" and get back to - they did not...

We arrived here after a very long drive and were delighted by the atmosphere and charm of the place. The garden was lovely with a clean pool and lots of comfy chairs to relax in. The receptionist who checked us in was wonderful, patient with our poor French, and very helpful in recommending two great places to eat. We had...

you wont find many places as peaceful and relaxing as this. Rooms are nice, service courteous despite our lack of knowledge of french and the house and gardens were beautiful. If you want peace, beauty and relaxation this is ideal.

This hotel is a calm oasis and a delightful experience. The ambience is wonderful and the breakfasts we ate outside on the terrace were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

I rented the loft at l´hermitage and it was a perfect stay. we had a lot of privacy but still all the structure of the hotel when we needed. the pool was almost in front of the loft. The property is a trip to the nobless of the past. Christine and Veronique were like old friends and would help us...

This location was the start and end of a walking holiday and provided a quiet retreat to rest in. It is out of town (45 minutes walk or a taxi ride) and does not have a restaurant. The breakfasts can be taken outdoors in the sun and are a comprehensive French bread and confiture assortment with cold meats and cheeses...

We too have been bicycle touring with Headwater, and this hotel has been our first and final night's stay. Wonderful weather always lightens the mood, but in a traditional French way this hotel is more than satisfactory on all counts, it is a 3 Star but fulfills all ones needs. A/c in the rooms, free Wi-Fi, a truly French Chateau...
