We stayed at the White Bear Hotel as members of a wedding party on Saturday 24 October 2015. Sue worked & cordinated the team well, also knowing when to step in personally & then when to step back again. The food was superb, the staff efficient & effective, the bedroom spacious & equipped to a high standard. A reasonably pricey...

Read the reviews so gave the Bear a whirl. Food very nice but pleased we shared a starter and bread otherwise my duck dish would not have sufficed me. Enough duck but a few more vegetables wouldn't have gone amiss. Seems to be the fashion at the moment? Staff were very pleasant and worked hard and although I don't like...

Just had a look at my old review and realised I only gave three stars. Must have been a slip of the finger as this is definitely a five star pub. Have been back several times and lunch is always spot on.

On the advice of friends, we stayed at The White Bear as we travelled through Yorkshire. We'd heard the story of the 2 distilleries and were keen to see the village. Getting to Masham is via windy roads but the drive is very scenic with much to be delighted by, along the way. Upon arrival, local staff were helpful, warm...

We stayed here for one night to break a journey up north to south and everyone who like beer says you always have to go to Masham.
