Enquired about availability. The lady phoned me back to explain more. She was so friendly and welcoming. Yorkshire grit! Couldn't stay as our essential clothes still drying at home so couldn't set off. Will stay soon, with dog too.

A cosy village inn in this lovely Yorkshire Dales Village. There was a fire roaring when we arrived and the bar had a selection of local ales (Theakstons and Black Sheep), The Black Sheep was in great condition. The staff were friendly and chatty. The pub was tidy and comfortable and the decor was in keeping with the pub although...

Had a lovely weekend with Friends and found the Pub very welcoming. The locals were very friendly and we did a tour of The Black Sheep Brewery. The evening was rounded off by a visit to the Bonfire Display which was very impressive.Lisa is lovely and added that extra something special. If you go you must ask for her Poached Eggs!

A 1 night stay here proved the right decision. Warm, friendly welcome by not only the staff but by the locals too. Room clean and tidy though the bar area itself could do with a touch up. In the morning a first class breakfast was cooked and served by the wonderful Lisa. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a two night stay at Bay Horse and what stuck me most was the wonderful hospitality of the staff especially Lisa who made me feel welcomed and ensured that I was having a comfortable stay. The ensuite room was spacious enough overlooking the town square, with tea-coffee facilities, tv and free wi-fi. Although the bedroom was clean it...

Popped in there before going elsewhere to eat. Real fire and very friendly people so went back in there after eating. Great location. All the usual local ales served. Looking forward to going again. Don't know if food served.

we booked very late as we wanted to go to The Niderdale show held at Pately Bridge not too far away. On our arrival we were made very welcome by Vicky who showed us to our rooms. Room 7 is up 2 very steep flights of stairs (not good if you have mobility problems) however the climb was worth it...
