A lovely bar/inn with nice rooms. Really popular and 'buzzing' bar, probably because of the friendly owner and staff. Really nicely kept beer and wine at a good temperature. Rooms clean and adequate. Nice decor and lovely comfy bed! Breakfast was really nice! A very nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

Having stayed in Masham on a number of occasions we were keen to try the Bay Horse as we had been advised on an earlier trip to Masham that Jill was now running the Bay Horse. We had previously experienced a very high level of customer service when staying at the Kings Head during Jill's time there and were not...

Really friendly staff, lovely room with comfy bed and modern bathroom. Good tea & coffee facilities. Quiet. Nothing to fault. We didn't expect to have to book a table for the evening on a Tuesday but luckily, we did on the landlady's advice as it was "steak night". Really popular evening with 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for...

Central location, plenty of parking, friendly staff, excellent room, belly buster breakfast. Great value. Masham is a lovely small market town blessed with 2 breweries. We visited Black Sheep Brewery visitors centre and had a lovely Sunday roast lunch washed down with Black Sheep bitter.

Lovely pub, very welcoming and pleasant staff eager to help. Food looked great and was busy, but we didn't eat. Our room 'Black Sheep' was excellent in size, decor, and cleanliness was all great, only gripe if any bathroom a little small, but still nice. Breakfast was a full hearty English affair which nicely set us up for the day....

A small cosy little hotel, clean and well decorated with friendly attentive owners and excellent food. Located close to the market square a gateway to The Yorkshire Dales and handy for The Towns two breweries.

Can not fault this pub at all. Great food, friendly service and good character. Will definately revisit during our stay here. Dog was made welcome too in bar area. Would highly recomend the roast cod loin and they had proper home made chips. The staff handled food allergy well too Well worth a visit
