Thanks to the Thomtpson's, and their wonderful cottage and beautiful surroundings, my wife and I had a lovely rest. The room was tastefully designed, air conditioning a pleasure. Bathroom perfect. Breakfast delicious.

This was our third visit to Seaforth and as always Trevor and Sharneen were wonderful hosts. The rooms are full of charm and the garden has so many different plants, shrubs and birds, and the swimming pool one of the best in South Africa. The breakfasts are superb and the flowers arranged on the buffet table with all manner of...

Seaforth Farm offers distinctive charm, great comfort, superb breakfasts and a convenient location, just off the N2 and an easy drive from Durban's King Shaka Airport. But what sets the place apart are the hosts, Trevor and Sharneen, a remarkable, entertaining and informative pair. Multi-talented and amusing, they are a fount of information and africana, and I daresay that first...

We stayed here for several nights. It was unexpected but we so enjoyed it that we stayed for longer. Trevor and Sharneen are consummate hosts. When we arrived late, they booked us at their favourite local restaurant. Just in case we were hungry. Very knowledgeable of the local scene, speaking Zulu and positive and warm praise for South Africa. I...

Hidden away just off the Main Road and so close to the beach and shops, Seaforth has to be the first choice for anyone visiting the Salt Rock / Ballito Area. We had such a super stay there with the kids who had acres of space to run and play! We felt so at home there and were looked after...

Seaforth is extremely child friendly with a beautiful big garden and lots of interesting things to see. Breakfast served on the deck was absolutely delicious and the staff were great. It was like home from home. With interesting places close by it is ideal for all and I can thoroughly recommend it.

I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay with Trevor and Sharneen. They are wonderful, knowledgeable people, who are so friendly and accommodating. We absolutely could not have chosen a better place to stay. The breakfast and accommodation was absolutely divine, and we will surely go back there for a visit. Best place I have ever stayed over.

I stayed here a couple of years ago, and was very favourably impressed. Sadly, at that time, I had to rush off next morning for an early flight at the nearby ( and no toll from this direction! ) King Shaka Airport. Nonetheless Trevor and his charming wife laid on a splendid early breakfast for me, out on the stoep...

... we didn't actually expect anything special when we booked seaforth; it should have been just an overnight stop before our flight back home from Durban. It ended up, however, as one of the most interesting experiences we made in South Africa. Our hosts , Trevor and Shareen are the most lovely people you can imagine. In addition, they have...

We were so warmly welcomed that it really did feel like a home from home. Trevor's and Sharneen's enthusiam for their home and country is infectious - they took real pleasure in sharing information about the animals, birds, flowers, beaches and everything else and that made the stay. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. The rooms were comfortable. Trevor kindly...
