My husband and I called here for Sunday lunch. Walked in and only one person there at about 1.15. Ordered lunch which was beef with plenty of veg - broccoli, carrots, parsnips, potatoes boiled and roasted. Not much atmosphere as only one other customer in the pub which, working in the pub trade myself, thought was a bit strange but...

Popped out for an impromptu lunch and decided to call into the Cross Keys as always said we wanted to visit, and never have...so glad we did. Handy car park round the back, fabulous service from a really charming lady behind the bar, a really nice "light bite" meal (2 courses for £7, ideal for smaller appetites but loads of...

Stayed here the first week of December during Usk's Christmas festival. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The pub is lovely with a gorgeous open fire. It felt very festive! Will definitely be back. We booked through booking.com and there was a mix up with our...

I stayed overnight on a Saturday. Friendly hosts, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, superb bespoke home-cooked breakfast. Lots of character, and excellent value for money; clearly much-appreciated by regular clientele. Very efficient service. I enjoyed my stay in Usk very much. Thank you.

Great little hotel in a fantastic little town. Value was excellent with a breakfast to set you up for the day. Parking was good and the room very comfortable. Quite a bit of history around in this listed pub, I will certainly visit again when in the area.

The cross keys is a typical country type pub, the room and food are what you would expect, Brian and Nicola make sure you are looked after and all the locals are friendly. I stayed during a business trip and Nicola was quite happy to get up early to make the breakfast, in fact nothing seemed too much trouble.
