Traditional pub and hotel, the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was all freshly made and very tasty, plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and will definitely be returning again in the future

Food, service and ambience were great. Visited for a family lunch which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Chef and owner Nicola cooked the food to perfection. My dad said it was the best steak and kidney pie he had ever tasted. He's 86 and has tasted many pies in his lifetime!! I would highly recommend The Olway and can't wait to...

Having tried to stop here once before when it was closed, we were passing by again and stopped off to find it open. The car park is huge and the pub was olde worldie with lots of old beams. We only had a drink and some crisps mid afternoon so the pub was relatively quiet but we would consider staying...

3 of us stayed for one night on way to a business meeting . Hard to tell what the scenery was like as it was pitch black when we arrived but the Inn looked lovely, warmly lit and smoke wafting from the roaring log fire. A perfect picture! On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the landlord and speedily checked...

I've long been a fan of the evening meals and bar meals at the Olway - and I've probably done a review previously. However, I'm not usually enthusiastic about eating Sunday lunch out and I'm often disappointed even in restaurants I really like ..... so this was a great surprise. The best Sunday lunch (out) I can remember. Seriously tasty...

Nice little country place, "in the middle of nowhere", just as we wanted. Positives: - Spotless. Top of my list is cleanliness, and they didn't fail. - Room warmed up very nicely. To begin with, it was a little cold, but once we got the radiator working, it was toasty warm - no mean feat in Wales in the middle...

We visited for Sunday lunch. We received a warm welcome from the bar staff and lovely real ale and cider. We chose the mixed meat dinner, with lamb, beef and pork. There was a choice of rare or well done for the beef. I chose rare and it was gorgeous. My favourite was the belly pork, melting and so tasty....
