Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A group of us recently stayed 4 nights here. The rooms are very nice, the meals very good & well priced. The hosts are very friendly & couldn't do enough for us. Easy location & we would definitely stay again. Laundry & cooking facilities were also available.

Pulled into this oasis for an overnight stay. Warmly greeted by the owner who directed us to where we needed to park. The gardens around the park are lush and teaming with birdlife. There is a grassed area further along for unpowered sites which is neatly manicured and flat for caravans etc.
If you're not bothered by road noise then this is well worth a look.

I had to camp somewhere because I wanted to visit a friend but there was no more room at her house. So, I camped where I could this place was the lesser of to evils as the council caravan park in Tully looked horrible. It was not very clean, the mosquitos where forocious and the Hyway was less then 50 meters away. But the owners were nice and the turtles in the creek were interesting.

I was becoming tired so decided to stop at this Motel for the night. The lady that greeted me was lovely. Very friendly & we got the last room left. It was late but she kindly made us some toast as we just wanted something light, a cup of tea and a good sleep. The room is a little dated but everything in there works fine and is clean. The toilet seat though clean should probably be replaced for aesthetic reasons that may affect returning patrons. The air conditioner was a little loud however it worked well. The bed wasn't the most comfy I have slept in but overall it was a place to sleep.
Sadly the infiltration of bugs (lots of them /earwigs) flying in the room, crawling along the ceiling and dropping onto our heads as we slept contributed to the rating of this motel. I got up & went over to reception to ask for some spray. The man was very nice but the can he gave me was close on empty, so we only got a few sprays. He did say they were prevalent at that time. I'm not sure what the solution is but I was paranoid about them dropping on my face or into my mouth. As a result the we had a very poor sleep.
