I have really been in two minds whether to write this review as we had such a wonderful week there I don't want too many people to find out about this Greek gem. Landing in Skiathos and traveling by minibus, boat and hire car was part of the adventure. Once we arrived it was worth it. The small hotel was...

Hotel is in a superb location, food is to die for(best Beef Stifado ever!). Room basic but spotlessly clean. We had room 12 on top floor with large sunny balcony & amazing views of the gulf - dolphins swimming nearly every morning! Pleasant staff & a great group of fellow travellers made this a place to come back to.Mustn't forget Hari(the...

This place has been on our list of places to go to for a few years ,we are here at last. The atmosphere, scenery, location and the food has surpassed all our expectations. We will be back and soon I hope. The only downside on the journey was our luggage was removed from the plane one stop too soon, but...

Superb location, great hotel with first class staff serving fresh local food overlooking a wonderful vista, what's not to like. The area is really scenic and with a small boat or car you can explore the local villages and coves or drive to unspoilt beaches or into the mountains. The weather was ideal and pottering about in a boat watching dolphins...

Located down a long winding road on a hillside – around a 10 minute drive from the nearest town. Owner of the hotel is a delight and produces the most wonderful food. The feel of the hotel is very pleasant – lots of areas to sit both in the sun and shade– lovely pool and a small but very functional...

All the previous reviews have really said it all. You can only find out by going there yourself. The photos show a totally accurate picture of the setting and facilities, but can never give you the breathtaking feeling of waking up to or watching the sunset over this idyllic place. The hospitality and cooking were generous and courteous. For anything...

Once we left Skiathos airport and began our journey to Pounda Paou, the atmosphere gradually changed from hustle and bustle to calm and relaxation. The minibus to the port, the ferry crossing and the taxi transfer passed without hitch and we eventually wound our way down the hotel drive to our accommodation. A warm welcome from staff awaited us, but...

I can't say enough positive things about this amazing place that is beautifully situated and managed to the highest standard by Madam Loula. She takes the closest interest in everything but particularly in the restaurant where she oversees the preparation of of the most delicious authentic and traditional Greek food I have enjoyed for a very long time. The rooms...

Greece to us is simple, but comfortable with old fashioned courtesies and hospitality. Pounda Paou delivers in spades. We had Room 1, an adequate bedroom and bathroom, plenty of cupboard and hanging space. a/c, a large balcony looking out over the sea and an adequate kitchen (which apart from the fridge for fruit and drinks) we did not use. Why...
