The nearest town is Puerto Natales which is about a 2 hour drive away and has the last petrol station and toilet..bit basic though. The road is mostly a rough gravel and bear this in mind when choosing your rental car as the going is a bit pot holey. The drive is worth it though and the views are spectacular....

The check-in was very friendly and someone even took our luggage to the room. The room itself was good, clean and tasteful but still simple. The dinner 3 course menu is overpriced so we went to the bar to have something to eat there as did many other guests. The service was extremely slow as there wasn't enough staff around...

The hotel is at the Lago grey side of the wonderful w walk. The rooms are large and the bathroom adiquate. We had a cabin that looked onto the lake and glacier and the view was awesome. The TV does not work and niether did the wi-fi. Check-in seamless and staff very friendly. We used he hotel as the staging...

we had been there for one day in a shining day. Do not miss this place both for the landscape and for the hotel lodging . Even if not cheap it offers the best you can expect the hotel location is just on the lake facing the lake , the glacier and the Paine mountain picks. Sit down outside the...

We visited the hotel just before our boat trip to the Grey glacier. Because the bar looked good and the view was terrific we decided to order two cappuccino. Chile isn't known of it's coffee culture but we found some good coffee during our holiday. The coffee in this hotel however was horrible. Especially in combination with ridiculous price of...

We stayed at Hotel Lago Grey during the first night of our trip to Torres del Paine. The rooms were on the smaller side but very comfortable and clean. The hotel is situated at the edge of Lago Grey. From the restaurant area, there is a view of the lake, mountains, and Grey Glacier. We had a 4-course dinner in...

Like us, most people who come here don't actually stay at the hotel-- which is long rows of small wooden cabins (only some that have lake views) anchored by a stunning lobby and dining room with fabulous views of Torres del Paine. Rather they come to buy tickets for the 3 hour boat trip (U$105) to the Grey Glacier. Although...

We stayed one night here, and were thorougly disappointed. The hotel itself is close to the lake but it's a long drive from the park entrance (and everywhere else in the park). The rooms are designed like small cabins but many don't have a lake view, simply looking into bushes or trees. The bathrooms are terribly outdated and in need...

The hotel itself is well situated and have rooms with great views (if that is what you get). The bar area that is open to the public is comfortable and calm, but don't order food there b/c the wait is long (i.e. 50min later and we had to remind them to bring the food b/c apparently the original waiter never...

We are surprised to see the reviews of Lago Grey not being all 4 or 5 stars to be honest. This was a brilliant find, especially at the price, and we would highly recommend it. The hotel rooms are not the most luxurious, but in the middle of Patagonia, not sure why anyone would not want to be one with...
