This refugio is a bit better than Chileno, but still way overpriced, same price around 85 USD for a camping spot with full board pr. person. For full board you get a breakfast, lunch and a dinner. They are served on time, and the dinner area is quite large. You need to be there around the start of serving time...

The lodge and camping here are really nice. You have the possibility to put your tent on wooden platforms. The food also is quite good. Unfortunately the service was bad and not helpful. Beware, the shower for the camping for women has not hot water, go to the one of the lodge.

We spent one night there in a room with full board. The check-in process was great, the room was OK, the bathrooms were clean and the food was tasty. The location is really good, the lake is in a few minutes walk and the sunset is gorgeous! Have in mind that the dinner is at fixed hour (I think it...

We actually thought this was the best of the refugios. It fit the image of what we though we would find - great location, great views, indoor and outdoor sitting space, friendly bar. Food was not the best or worst, but dinner and breakfast were both satisfactory. Showers were clean and water was hot. Rooms had some three tier bunks....

Los Cuernos is a gem and really stands out from the refugios in TdP. The staff is very friendly, the bar is cosy, the wine affordable and if you want to cook your own food there are decent facilities. From this refugio, it's possible to do the French Valley and subsequently hike to Paine Grande in one day, although this...

I really loved this place, it has amazing views of the Nordenskjöld lake and the backside of "Las Torres del paine". The service and amenities were very good too. However it's very expensive, due to that I decided to camping there. They have a bar which is beautiful too.

The refugio Cuernos belongs to Fantastico Sur and offers dorms as well as private cabins (189USD). For those staying in the private cabins, there is a bathroom with restricted access, a hot tub you can book and each cabin has their own fireplace, gorgeous views of the lake and the nearby waterfall. Food is more expensive at 18,000 than at...

We came on the W track too late to pass on. We were asked since prices had doubled since three days to pay 100dollars per person for camping and three meals (which was obligatory, you could not just camp) or 40dollars for a bed in a dorm per person. These are the prices if you don't book in advance since...

Stayed here during the W trek. The cabins are quite cozy and there a fireplace in each one. There were a few logs and kindling placed prior to our check-in and it was easy to get the fire started on our own. There's some more chopped up wood in a common area that you can use if you run out....

This was a stop along our W Trek (1st night after starting the hike). My friend and I were assigned a cabin which sounded better than a shared dorm, but it's a bit of a hike to get to the cabins (and it took an extra hour or so for us to actually make it inside our cabin since there...
