Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Basic hotel. No breakfast. No glasses to go with the beer you can buy. Good view of the Mekong but currently a building site.No place holders for your soap or shampoo in the shower. Good situation with quick access to restaurants.

This is the trip in Pakse Lap, I came here for my team work. After our short city sight and the mountains viewing we are enjoying our soup and BBQ. We decided to stay in this hotel. We try to speak our language to receptionist but they can't communicate with us. One of our team he can talk to them. They were so surprise with their smiling. They are so lovely. I really like the room. It's so clean and nice decorating. Especially, the price is reasonable with a great location along the Mekong river. I also like his old car Shaw as the photos below. I'll be here again with my team work.

The straff did'nt speak mich englisch, so therefore it was pretty much complicated to boom a Tour to the Bolaven Plateau. Finally the guy at the Reception called somebody and then it worked. Not much around at the riverfront, 2 floating retsaurant and a restaurant nearby. Market is not to far away, but thats about it. The room was ok.

Great hotel a little way out of town (10 mins walk). I stayed in a double room which in the photo looked quite small. The photo didn't do it justice - it was huge with a lovely bathroom and hot shower - which after 5 months of travelling.m and cold showers was amazing. Linen in beds is fresh and clean. Room and hotel spotless an staff very friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you want some peace and quiet.

Been there last week (January 5, 2017), arrived hotel and submitted expedia's booking voucher, hotel manager (or owner) told us that expedia did not sent her confirmation e-mail. If we want to stay the night, we have to pay cash at the front desk. So I told her that my credit card was already charged by expedia and I asked her to contact expedia to sort things out but she refused to do so by telling us that the phone cost is too high!! We have to contact expedia ourselves without any help offered from the hotel!! If you want to stay in Pakse, I recommend somwhere else.

Except nice river view, the hotel has no other good things to offer. Communication is a problem for those who do not speak Lao. Rate is exclusive of breakfast and no restaurant in hotel. However there's a nice floating restaurant opposite side

Stayed here at the last days of the rainy season. the rooms have what they should - not more, not less. the river view is actually the view of the street in front of the river, so you can save 2 USD & take a room without. Wifi works ok. but this is definitely not a place for people who wanna sleep longer: the maids yell at each other in the hallway & the neighbor with his music will show no merci & wake you between 6 and 7am. since all the nice restaurants directly at the river have vanished you might also have to walk a bit to get some food & drinks or find a supermarket.

The rooms were clean, airy and spacious. Position on the Mekong gave good views and was close the floating restaurants. Quite a walk to the central part of town. No breakfast at the hotel and the small nearby restaurants did not seem to serve breakfast. The staff spoke little or no English and were not particularly friendly or helpful. The hotel made an error on our booking and it took numerous phone calls and emails from our agent to get it sorted out. The office had not informed the front desk. We got no apology for our stress and inconvenience. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. For some reason many guests dragged chairs over the floor that made dreadful noises and at 2am woke me up. When I requested an extra pillow they wanted $4 for one night. The beds were positioned as such so that the air conditioning blew straight on to the bed. If staying in Pakse I think I would look elsewhere for a room.

The room was large, however the bed placed with the headboard under the window blocked any views. The airconditioner was positioned so that it blew air at the head of the bed making it quite uncomfortable. The window had bars which further distorted the view. There are no services near the hotel for breakfast. We had booked for two nights and On the second day at 830 am we decided to continue to the Bolaven Plateau and asked to check out. We had booked with another online service for two days and the two front desk staff seem to be confused on what to do. We were told that we would not be charged but when the charges came through the hotel refused to reverse the charge saying no refund for early departure. Out of all the hotels we stayed in Laos this was our least favourite. It is a 10 minute walk to downtown.
